We booked an 8-hour pontoon rental with this company over the weekend, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish.
First, we were surprised by an unexpected $10 per car charge just to park in their lot. During check-in, the staff was unfriendly, unhelpful, and gave us the impression that our business wasn’t welcome. Although we were told we would receive a quick safety course on operating the pontoon, this was skipped after one person in our group mentioned they had prior experience.
On the water, we had a great time at Crab Island. The problems began when we returned. The docking process was chaotic, with several employees shouting conflicting instructions at once. This confusion caused one member of our group, who was operating the boat, to panic and accidentally accelerate instead of shifting into neutral. Our boat lightly bumped another pontoon that was already docked. The impact did not appear severe, and certainly not enough to cause major damage.
However, the manager (or owner) immediately confronted us in a very rude and aggressive manner, claiming we had “broken a fuel line” on the other boat. Without providing any real proof or explanation, we were charged $1,070 on the spot. Feeling pressured and intimidated, we paid and left.
The following day, I attempted to follow up to speak with someone in charge, but I was told the manager was “too busy” and that I would receive a call back. Days later, no one has reached out, confirming the lack of professionalism and poor customer service we experienced from the very beginning.
I truly regret not reading more of the negative reviews before booking. Our group of eight all agreed this company mishandled the situation and showed no regard for customer fairness or satisfaction. We will all be leaving reviews so that future customers are better informed.

edit: i’m not able to reply to your response, but i don’t know how YOU as an owner feel good about yourself being a liar and running a scam. While loading up at the dock to head to crab island we were shown where all Safty equipment was and where we were permitted to take the boat and watercraft then the young man said ( let him take some photos so we wouldn’t be charged for damage ) and lastly he told us to use common sense. We had to have pontoon and watercraft back by 17:00 hrs so at 16:00 we prepared to head back to dock so the 2 personal watercraft headed back first and we followed in the pontoon so a little way back one of the personal watercraft had a mechanical issue in the shipping lane so we hooked a line to it and towed it the rest of the way to the dock. Before we got to the dock with pontoon and watercraft in tow we received a yet telling us that a guy at the dock was upset and had made the comment that we should have left the personal watercraft and let them tow it. So we were in sight of the dock with watercraft in tow when we received the text so we cut the watercraft loose and the dock crew came out and towed it the rest of the way. Once on dock a dock hand with a bad attitude and smart mouth said that there were scratches on the personal watercraft and there would be a $500.00 damage fee.
