Booking was simple. Directions and information on parking and what to expect was super clear and helpful. Check in was painless and we were made welcome before we even made it halfway down the dock by the Captain and his crewman with big friendly smiles and welcomes. Captain Justin and Patrick were super friendly, knowledgeable, and fun! Capt. Justin even caught a puffer fish and blue crab while we were enjoying the water. My kiddos were so excited to experience that and the dolphin Capt. Justin spotted only 30 seconds into our trip heading out to the island. Crab island was so clear and the water was beautiful the morning we went but I do hear that it can be more blue or green depending on the day but it usually stays pretty clear. Super nice, spacious, clean and well taken care of boat. I felt confident with my children being on it. The boat is mostly shaded except for in a couple of areas for sunbathing but Capt. Justin made sure to keep the seats that were under the canopy shaded by slightly turning the boat halfway through our trip. I REALLY appreciated that small gesture because the sun had moved to where our seats were no longer shaded and my daughter had went up to the boat to rest. There’s also a bathroom on the boat which was super helpful for everyone with kiddos on our boat! Capt. Justin was very alert with the weather coming in and got us all back to shore before a thunderstorm came through. The only complaint I have is not being able to tip electronically because I rarely have cash on me and unfortunately the atm I had stopped at on our way was out of service which was a huge bummer. From the moment we stepped on board, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality. The crew made us feel like family, going out of their way to ensure everyone was comfortable, relaxed, and enjoying the ride. Their energy was genuine, upbeat, and made the whole evening feel extra special.

We were celebrating a very special occasion—a bridal trip—and the bride-to-be was absolutely glowing. What made it even more memorable was how attentive and thoughtful the crew was. They didn’t just take photos; they captured memories. The pictures they took of the bride during the golden hour were absolutely stunning. They knew all the best angles, lighting, and scenic backdrops, and they made her feel like a total star. We were blown away by how beautifully the moments were preserved.

As for the cruise itself—the views were jaw-dropping. The sky over the Gulf transformed into a canvas of fiery oranges and soft pinks, casting a magical light over the water. We saw dolphins dancing alongside the boat, and the peaceful vibe as the sun dipped below the horizon made us all pause and soak it in.

Very disappointed in this company. On June 12th my family was booked for a sunset dolphin sightseeing tour. We were asked to arrive at 5:45 for a tour that left at 6:30. At 5:43 I received a call from Sunventure asking if our group was still coming. I said yes and asked if they were still a go themselves because there was a very light sprinkle, nothing more. Minutes later, after paying the $11.20 mandatory parking fee, we arrived. When I found their shack, along with my family there were three others. It was at the moment we were told the excursion was now canceled due to weather. The young man working there advised the captain said there was lightning in the area. Me along with the other few families were understandably disappointed and upset because we had all been confirmed and all paid parking. The real kicker is that since we paid for parking already; we decided to stick around and eat dinner immediately next door. We saw chartered cruise after cruise go out with packed ships of paying customers and then return on what turned out to be a beautiful evening until the rain finally came after 8:00. The only logical conclusion one can make is that the few paying customers that signed up for the cruise weren’t enough to entice the captain to take us out. If it were due to weather how could other outfit make their scheduled runs, as planned. Very disappointed in this considering the weather was fine.
