Old Town Market — Attraction in Double Oak

I have been meaning to go to this place forever but it never worked out and then they moved to a new place. I went to the new place but I went on a Monday and they are closed on a Monday. I didn't know that because I had never been. It felt like destiny was preventing me from ever ever ever visiting. If I believed in destiny I probably would have given up. Today I finally made it happen! They have simple but fantastic beef jerky. I bought some sausages of two kinds and they are even able to get me a fresh ham for an amazing recipe that I have. I bought a pismo cut so I can make my own chateaubriand and several fillets. They looked at me a little strangely at first but they definitely made it happen and in only a few short minutes. So far so good, I definitely plan to go back. Oh, and that beef...

This is an old-school butcher shop. They have anything that you want to put on a grill or eat for dinner beef, chicken, pork, bacon and sausages.

I also have a counter that makes sandwiches and barbecue. I refrigerated and freezer section will have boudin sausage sides for your barbecue drinks Etc

In centers and on the walls they have Rob sauces spices and anything that you want to season your meat with. Speaking of seasoning, anything that you buy can be purchased with Old Town markets seasoning. The seasoning is a perfect mix of salt pepper garlic and some spices. It makes your steaks taste great.

Oh and by the way I happen to be a bunch of nice guys too. They have been open for 40 years, so you know...

I shoppwd with Shawn the previous owner for over 30 years and had a great relationship. New ownership has taken over and it is went to c* the service is terrible the food stock is the same you would get at kroger's and now you can even get better at market street for 5 to $7 a pound cheaper without half the BS. I went in today to redeem an expired gift card and they would not honor it even though they had received the money and I had the person who issued the gift card with me and basically told me no way. Not our problem that was SHAWN's money not OURS. I would find a new place to go because you can now get the same meat at market street as I stated much cheaper....
