I have gone to many of the schools (Paul Mitchell, International school of Skin and Nails, Atlanta school of massage) within the Atlanta area and have really enjoyed it and wanted to try this one. The worst experience ever! If I could give a 0 stars I would for customer service. I looked on line for an available appointment for this week and it only showed one for the following week. I then called to see if they had any openings that were not listed online or to be added to a list if they had a cancelation for this week. When I called the manager told me they only have appointments available for two weeks from now. I tried to explain that the website is showing one for next week. She said that if I tried to book it, it would not go through. While I was on the phone with her I tried to book it. including giving my credit card information. The booking went through and I told her I no longer needed the appointment for in two weeks (I wanted to have a facial before holiday pictures). I received a confirmation email and was good to go. She then told me she was going to "cancel my appointment because I was not listening to her". I then got a cancelation email that I had requested my appointment be canceled. I asked her why did she cancel it because I could not believe she actually said I was not listening (like an angry mother would scold a chiId) and she said because she wanted to. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND GOING TO SOME OF THE OTHER SCHOOLS IN ATLANTA. THEY HAVE GREAT...
Read moreAs an esthetician student, visiting The Skin Institute of Atlanta and scheduling that tour was the best decision I could have ever made for myself. My experience so far has been an incredibly valuable and eye-opening experience. The level of professionalism, care, and expertise I observed truly inspired me and gave me a clearer understanding of what it takes to provide high-quality skincare services.
Being able to see real-world applications of what I’m learning in school—like skin analysis, treatment planning, and client education—helped connect the dots for me in a way that classroom learning alone can’t.
This experience has reinforced my passion for skincare and motivated me to continue learning and growing in this field. I highly recommend The Skin Institute of Atlanta—not just for clients, but also for students like myself who want to see excellence in what we are working towards and be inspired by the kind of professionalism we...
Read moreDuring my time here at The Skin Institute of Atlanta, I’ve experienced the best mentoring I’ve ever come across. While being taught in class during lecture, we’re given real life examples and gems to take with us even after we graduate. When looking for which school to attend for esthetics, none of them in Atlanta really stood out to me. They seemed to “teach” the students and rush them out into the world unprepared. Not only has this school shaped me and prepares me as a future esthetician. It’s given me real life skills, built connections, friendships, and knowledge that I can have for a lifetime. The only thing I don’t like is that one day I’ll be graduating and won’t be here every week to be with the owner and my classmates. I will truly miss everyone. This experience has changed me for the better and everyone looking into esthetics should come to this school, The Harvard...
