IT'SUGAR American Dream — Attraction in East Rutherford

Just left there where I was accused of stealing drug paraphernalia. It’s a heat wave and my daughter is at her college orientation. While we wait for her we’ve been finding creative ways to stay cool. Before heading into the shops at Columbus we headed into its sugar because we’re with my 10m old and he likes looking at the lights and bright colors. I picked up a mug called “wake and bake” and asked my husband does it work and how. I then put it down. When exiting an employee in a purple shirt was kind of blocking the door. I thought that was odd but people are weird. She even almost bumped into someone trying to walk in. She then accuses me of stealing the mug. I was confused and said I put it down and continued on my way, but I’m annoyed that a store (not this location) that I frequented often with my older kids would accuse me of stealing. If you were watching so closely you should have done a better job and watched me place it back down. How outrageously inappropriate it was to try and smile and play with my 10 month old while you were moments away from accusing his mother. As much as my older kids like It’s Sugar I’m going to be thinking twice before purchasing anything there ever again. Maybe it’s for the best and I should be supporting...

They had an impressive selection of candy. Modern candies and candies from the past and everything in between. They also had a bunch of other fun little toys and plush dolls and themed candies like Harry Potter and stranger things and anime. The top floor has the Oreo cafe as well. This place is not shy about their love of sugar. There was a funny picture on the wall of some lady frowning at a salad and giving a huge smile to a bowl of gummies. A decent place to bring kids because it's entertaining to walk around, but They will want to buy everything in this place because it's all really fun and colorful...

The most epic "Its Sugar" I have experienced!! Very opulent with 3 levels not for the faint of knees! Many different types of candy that will have you reminiscing your childhood memories! Great vintage candies you haven't seen in forever.

There are great models of your favorite characters waiting to see you grab your favorite sweets and everything is very neatly organized! There are plushies, stationary and more to let you or your loved ones 🎉 celebrate a favorite sweet treat!
