Overall, Iām really upset with my experience at this store! I came to this store around 7:15 PM to make 2 returns! I know one item had hit the 60 day return policy but I know at times some managers make an exception, if not I completely understand as I did not return my item on time. When I was at the register, I explained to the cashier how I wanted to return both items, and completely understood if my 1 item that hit the 60 day mark was unable to be returned. The cashier then proceeded to say āyou can just tell the manager if you can exchange it for another item as they make exceptions at timesā but I told her that we didnāt have to because I knew I have surpassed the return date, but she insisted and called over a manger. (She was trying her best which I appreciate) Then the manager came over and stated that it can not be returned, which was expected and I understood. I really didnāt want the item and asked if I can leave it in store and was told no. After I returned my other item, I browsed around for a little and I guess the manager didnāt see me and I overheard her say āshe knows what sheās doing coming in today,ā which to me made me feel upset like I was trying to do things on purpose. From the beginning of my interaction, I understood the rules of returns and such and for her to say that really hurt because I never meant harm but for her to assume I did this on purpose is absolutely disgusting. I will never return to this store because of the lack of professionalism from management. I, myself, work in retail and I understand there are times customers try different ways to play the system, but I am not one of them. I am really upset over this interaction and will not be returning to this store, which I know is not a big deal, but to me it is because there was no need for the manager to say slick...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy teenage daughters have been to Sephora before, but different locations. The Sephora in Edgewater commons is not comparable to any other locations.
It was hot day and their AC was not on. Stuffy and hot. Makeup and skincare products need cool dry place to store. No one greeted or offered to help. Inventories not stocked up, unorganized and messy. Employees having small conversations time to time but didn't catch them doing any work on the floor. I didn't want to stay but my daughter picked up 2 items. We walked towards the register to pay. One girl came to a register and received payment, put items in the bag and no samples. When I asked for samples she said 'this is all we have left' as she opened a drawer filled with same packets. They should receive ton of samples from every single manufacturer. These samples are meant to be handed out to customers. This is called marketing. So if you are the store owner/ manager please know this is what is going on. If you care.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreStaff stole $50 off my gift card. We gave them a $100 GC purchased 11/15 in Paramus. The told me itās only $50, destroyed the card and gave me a new one for $50. The manager who is pictured in the review, saw my proof of purchase but refused to admit her theft. When confronted she did not give back original GC and refused to give me original GC number as my receipt from Paramus shows only a partial GC number.
The thief is pictured below. Be ware! Also they stereotyped me and my girlfriend. We are Eastern European, but they asked if we were Colombian. And spoke to us in Spanish partially and called me āPapiā. Unprofessional and rude. Even if I was Colombian being called āPapiā in a condescending manner is ridiculous and tasteless. Not how a corporation should...
