As a consumer, I was deeply disappointed with my recent purchase of a counterfeit Bournvita, which is marketed to look like the original Cadbury Bournvita. The product failed to meet my expectations, and as a result, I would not recommend it to anyone. Firstly, the packaging of this product is strikingly similar to the original, which is a clear indication that the company producing it is trying to deceive consumers. Upon opening the container, the powder inside appeared to be slightly different from the original, and the smell was also noticeably different. I immediately became suspicious of the product's quality. Upon making the drink, I could tell that it was not the genuine product. The taste was extremely disappointing and lacked the distinctive flavor that I have come to expect from Cadbury Bournvita. Moreover, the texture was grainy, and the powder did not dissolve well in the milk. This resulted in a subpar experience that left a bad taste in my mouth and caused abdominal discomfort. As a consumer, I feel cheated and misled, and I urge others to exercise caution before purchasing this product. The packaging indicates that it is distributed by a company called Meenaxi Enterprises Inc, located in Edison, NJ. It is clear that the company is attempting to profit from the reputation of the original Cadbury Bournvita. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this product, and I would advise others to avoid it.

Patel Brothers to me is the Rajnikanth of Indian grocery shops in the US. When we used to be in Minneapolis, we used to only step into a Patel Bro’s shop in Devon avenue when Chicago was just a stone throw away. Now after moving to NJ, there are quite a few spread across. But we choose to shop at this particular location just for the fresh rotis they prepare right out of the roti-maker. The shop is quite large and have a lot to offer right from veggies, dairy, snacks, rice, daal to frozen desi items. I cannot comment on the price as I wouldn’t know if this place is cheaper or costlier than the rest. The reason I vote two stars less is that for a personal experience we had with a roll of Maggi masala packs that we got, which were sold beyond their expiry date. I didn’t get a good feel after we had the new masala and prompted me to check on the expiry date. When we called the customer care, we didn’t get a responsible response with the person talking only in Hindi. But later a supervisor called us back and apologized for the miss. We haven’t stopped going here but have started making a conscious effort to check the expiry dates on certain packed items.

BEWARE OF THE ITEMS THEY HAVE ON SALE! I carried this back with me and 2 other unopened packets of the same biscuits that I bought together. The lady at the counter gave me credit for the 2 unopened packets and had the guts to tell me that the third packet is opened and you already had a few !!!!!! I was shocked!!! IT'S BAD ENOUGH THAT I ATE THE ROTTEN FOOD YOU ARE SELLING because I didn't realize that they were bad! What if something had happened to me?!! How about being ashamed of selling food like this ?!! How about apologizing for having these on your racks?! How about saying Thank you for not having the Food and Sanitation Dept down there to close the shop down?!!! I am pretty sure the unopened packets went right back on the rack again to be sold to another innocent customer who is trusting Patel Bros with the quality of food that he and his family will be consuming. They credited the third packet after they looked at my shocked face and after I asked to meet with the manager. Never got any apology and saw no signs of regret or embarrassment. It's shameful really!
