I really want to give this place just one star but decided to give 3 stars only because of the kind manner of the owner and the staff. The polite and well mannered owner was kind enough to help us identify the food items as there were no food description tags. Other than that everything was BAD. When we entered, no one was at the front desk for a while. Owner was seen playing with a little child in the back but didn't bother to greet us. Since it was our first time, we dint know how this buffet works or what food they have to offer. Owner and his wife was attending to a particular set of customers but didn't bother to help anyone else until I excused and requested help In a passive manner. As many other reviewers mentioned, the cheap Styrofoam plates and plastic utensils are disgusting to eat from. Also the tiny transparent cups to drink water looks like they are made out of grocery bags. Seating area wasnt well maintained either as it needs repair. I had to explain 3 times to get a proper hot water. Food was ok but could have been lot better, Roti was very very oily, and there are much better options all around this area. So many dishes but no soup, rasam or dessert for 18 Dollar buffet???. Overall, this place offer lot of similar tasting indian dishes with plain white rice for 18 or 19 Dollars, and its not worth it. Plus, good customer service might cost extra. Owners and the waiter seems to be kind and polite people, so we hope they can turn this place around to offer much better...

The highlight..... I don't think you're ready ....... THE HIGHLIGHT was the Nicely buttery, thin, and crispy roti!! Omg deliciously fantastic. And on top of that they give you two additional different breads... a sweet one and a wheat one! To die for!!!!
It was so good I had to give the owners a hug! Literally!

Read moreFraud! We bought a Groupon deal for the lunch buffet. I must have been in a fog, because the deal said that you get two vouchers for the lunch buffet, tues thru friday for $27, while the regular price is $51.80. I should have realized that $27 sounds just like a regular price for two buffet lunches at a Indian restaurant, maybe more than normal. When we got there, we found out that the regular price for one lunch buffet is just $13! So, we paid $27 for a Groupon "deal", where any group of two that just walks in only pays $26! Even worse, with the Groupon certificate you can only use it for one lunch at a time, so we'd have to go back twice to get two lunch buffets for $27, while you can have two just walking in for $26! No reasoning with them either, they didn't care, so we walked out. We did see the small buffet, no way that was ever worth $51.80. We complained to Groupon and got our money back, but amazingly no one at Groupon cares, and this totally FRAUDULENT deal was still up. When a restaurant does this, you can only imagine what they might be doing in the kitchen to make a buck. There are plenty of honest, ethical Indian restaurants in Edison to...
