Located in Englewood NJ, Bianco Nero Gelato is a very upscale looking place to get a sweet treat without the worry of beating up your wallet too badly. You walk in and you can see the selection of the various Gelato. There is quite the selection of gelato here. The plus here is if you get at least a medium you can mix 2 different flavors of Gelato for no additional cost. I ended up getting the s'mores Gelato. It was very tasty and with less sugar than ice cream it's something you don't have to feel guilty about. I also had a bottle of water and a latte. Whatever espresso they use is absolutely delicious. I didn't need any sugar whatsoever. Another big time kudos is the staff. They were extremely friendly and I was very impressed with their level of service. Unfortunately there is a bit of bad here. The bathroom was dirty and desperately needed to be cleaned out. The portion of latte for the price can be a bit better as the cup was rather small. There is also VERY limited seating inside and although you can sit outside, such is not the case all year round. Overall, I would recommend this place for anyone who wants a nice hour or two away from home to enjoy a treat. Just be prepared for a line as it tends to get busy.....trust me....the flavor is worth the line.

Don't you love it when flavors taste exactly as advertised? While the folks behind the counter doled out generous samples, I felt like I was in the Wonka factory, trying edible wallpaper and exclaiming,“Strawberries really taste like strawberries, and the snozzberries really taste like snozzberries!” To wit, my husband's choice of Biscoff gelato tasted exactly like the buttery tea biscuits, down to the crumbly texture (thanks to the bits of actual Biscoff cookies in it). Dubai chocolate has been everywhere, and I chose to take its virality by the horns by getting it in gelato form. This, too, was close to the real thing in taste and texture, down to the kadayif shreds. To top things off, presentation is sweet. Our two scoops came with a whole Biscoff cookie (as if we really needed an extra reminder of what we were having!) and a teeny tiny cone. We took great glee in making ourselves a doll-sized ice cream cone which somehow tasted even better. Small touches such as these can make such a fun difference. When it comes to dessert spots, I believe ambiance is everything. With a decorative gelato cart, happy mood lighting, and charming wickered seats in both indoor and outdoor spaces, Bianco Nero screams 'date night' in spades.

Today's Summer heat definitely helped having gelato. We walked into Bianco Nero Gelato, looked through a variety of artisanal gelato. You can try a sample if you're curious. Ordered a medium cup. A medium cup comes with two flavors. In one cup, I had the Mallabi Rosewater and Amalfi Lemon Crunch. The other medium cup had the Blueberry Creme Brùlee and Kalva Pistachio. My cup had a great combination of sweet and sour. The Amalfi Lemon Crunch was delicious with the semi sweet Mallabi Rosewater - I'm glad it worked out the way it did. The prices are expensive. However, I'd come back here once in a while because the flavors were fresh and homemade. I noticed the displays were a little empty when picking flavors. I'm not sure if it's common for the store to have it displayed, I recommend next time to fill in with more flavors. Street parking is available, seating inside and outside, the establishment is fairly large. The decor is beautiful. You feel comfortable and serene having your gelato and having conversation. Staff was friendly, and all forms of payment are accepted. Located by a busy intersection, just be mindful crossing or driving by. Will be back in Englewood soon to try other flavors!

Oh how things have changed... At $7/ small cone this place is not worth the trip or the money anymore. Very saddened, once again from another town favorite ending up like this. Don't get me wrong, the place is cute and the gelato LOOKS delicious. This place allegedly sells authentic Italian gelato, has French music playing in the background and is Korean run. There was always a line around the block, people eating on the sidewalk and the curb, people double parked just to get a cone; it WAS that good. They offer vegan options, have take home containers, sell dog ice cream, espresso coffees/lattes and some store merchandise as well. The store is very nicely decorated and feels warm and cozy. We hadn't gone back since November and was very excited to have our loved gelato cone. The flavors they offered were the same; if you have any questions they can give you a taste of any gelato you like before you buy. The gelato bins unfortunately looked stale but we thought; hey its Bianco Nero, its always delicious! We went with the flavors we've always gotten and what they're actually famous for. Kinder Bueno, Ferrero Rocher and hazelnut crunch. They're supposed to be creamy, not overly sweet and filled with pieces of topping. The Roche one used to taste like a creamy, less sugary version of Nutella with bits of chocolate on gorgeous waffle cone, it was divine. This time around it tasted like a very cheap version of store bought ice cream with added stale cocoa powered, mixed and put on display for customers to buy. It was disgusting. The hazelnut crunch was so sweet, i couldn't have more than 2 spoons of it. The Kinder Bueno was also a miss. The customer service has unfortunately declined dramatically as well, it seemed that no one behind the fridge wanted to be there. They seemed bothered by paying customers, tired and probably overworked. They have also raised their prices, just like everyone else has to keep up with inflation. But again, just like anyone else, they have dramatically cut on quality ingredients and customer service. Needless to say, I won't be...

I visited here several times, but the size of the ice cream got smaller every time I visited. When asked politely if the size had gotten smaller, Casher treated me like a horrible customer and replied with a grumpy face that she didn't know because she didn't scoop it. I was so speechless. Is it hard to answer kindly when a customer asks? The problem here is that all cashers are very unfriendly. I never felt like I was welcomed here. In addition, the way of ordering here makes customers very tired. As soon as entering, the cashier asks the customer what ice cream wants, but the customer has not yet figured out the type of ice cream. The ice cream here is lined up to the checkout counter and the letters are too small, so you have to get closer to see what kind of ice cream it is. The reason why it is not easy to approach is that you can't easily see the type of ice cream because you're already in line to calculate. From the customer's point of view, it feels really unpleasant being asked what kind of ice cream I want as if an unfriendly cashier is pushing me when the type of ice cream has yet to be identified. If the boss sees this, I hope he will reorganize the line to order and calculate. I don't want to go anymore because of the unfriendly cashier and...
