game 7 barbershop — Attraction in Englewood

Got my sons’ haircuts here and the cuts were subpar at best, especially considering they were done by the owner of the shop (Derick). He was very disrespectful when I asked for simple things that my barber Justice at Greyish does with ease! Yes, I know I should have went here, but it was holiday season and my barber was already booked. Derrick rushed through my sons $35 cuts and was a jerk to them, rudely saying things like “be quiet and stop moving” when they tried to strike up any conversation with him. Of course, I understand the need for them to be still but they never have an issue complying when asked nicely to do so by their typical barber. I tipped for the cuts because I understand the effort required for these services, but I expect professionalism and good service in return. at the end of the day, if your customer service skills are terrible, your cutting skills should be superb. In this case, both elements were bad. Very disappointed…man please work on your people skills at the very least! Hi, Amber cut my son's hair for him and I rarely leave reviews but he took a lot of time with him and my done didn't know exactly what he wanted which makes it a bit more challenging and I'm am really impressed..he did such an excellent job! He's actually only had 3 haircuts I didn't do..in his entire life and he's 14.. and I wish so much I had the money to leave a good tip .but I didn't.. and I also didn't realize how great of a job he did until after a few days of noticing every angle..it's beautiful..( I honestly wanted to do it myself and didn't have much to pay for it but it was Christmas and I didn't know it would really be worth the money ( I have a razor and scissors) well his last 2 cuts I could have easily done as well or better..but this one is really good.. there's a depth to the shape and when it's rough like not combed yet and it looks good so I want to leave a raveling review bc I would definitely recommend Amber as an excellent person to..u userally excellent.. I went to school for cosmetology and I'm not great at it..i shadowed cutters and stylist and this man is the best I've seen..thank you amber.. Id definitely go back and feel like it's worth every...

"wooo whee I'd take the one on the left" -said my barber about two women walking by outside, the two other barbers then just kinda chuckled. I'm a little disappointed I didn't decide to just walk out then, as I don't appreciate people talking about (is objectifying the right word here?) women like that.

The hair cut was ok, my barber was a little rough with the comb but I didn't really mind that. My wife's first words when she saw me were 'it's crooked' which my hairline now kind of is. I'm usually not very picky about how my hair looks, but even I can tell it wasn't cut very cleanly. If anything though, I think they did a great job with the face shaving.

Cash only, no prices listed, and the barber said it was $60 when I was done, which seemed a little high, and I kind of had to use their ATM since I didn't have cash. Their website says it's $30 for a cut and shave so either the website is inaccurate or I got lied to? I feel like it may have been a little of both.

Anyway, not my worst hair cut ever, but don't think I'll ever come back for the...
