I decided to give this Qdoba location another chance to provide good customer service and went there with my wife for lunch today. The staff seemed pleasant while preparinng my order, then proceeded to the register to pay for my meal. I was having an issue with the Qdoba app where it was not showing the reward that I had clicked on from my account. The cashier very rudely said that there is no reward showing and wanted me to pay without offering any help. When I looked at the app again to try to fix it, she walked over to a man who appeared to be a manager and said something to him in Spanish of which I do not understand. After that, he came over to me and said that he could not help me because he needed to scan in the reward. I asked if there was any way that he would be able to add the $5 reward in another way. He said that he would not do that. I told him that I thought it was not very good customer service to not try to make this situation right. He said it was not their fault that I was rude and had been rude to the other employees. I said that I just wanted good customer service. He got angry and said the situation was my fault because I did not know how to use the app correctly. I asked him for his name and said that I would share what happened on social media to bring attention to this poor customer service. He refused to give me his name . My wife, who had already sat down to enjoy her meal, told me to stop trying to argue, and we should leave. I listened to my wife, and left the Qdoba with her. While my wife and I were heading to our car, the Qdoba employee opened the door of the restaurant and followed us towards the car. He began yelling at me, and I yelled back at him. My wife said that we were already leaving and he continued to yell at her. I do not understand this location of Qdoba as this is the second time they have been unprofessional with us. I'm also trying to understand why an employee, possible manager who refused to give his name, would follow us after we already decided, voluntarily, to leave the Qdoba. I would strongly recommend that customers avoid this Qdoba. I have been to many other Qdobas and love their food and service. However, this one seems to have issues with management that cause a very unpleasant...
Read moreI ordered from the Qdoba app for delivery. Being in the service industry myself I can usually give the benefit of the doubt to a place. HOWEVER.. I placed an order and was given the wrong order after being delivered almost 25 minutes late.. I recieved 2 nachos instead of a 5 person family meal with extra chicken and queso. I ordered enough for our family of 5 plus 2 babies I received 2 nachos with ground beef and a brownie. I was told the order would be compensated and I would receive the order the next day free of charge to compensate the delay and the wrong order. Mind you I was out of dinner for 3 kids on the fly. I called the next day and the person said they confirmed with the regional manager and I would have to pay fully for my order today even though I was out yesterday and they wouldn't be able to deliver. I have paperwork and pictures to back up everything. They keep trying to blame doordash though I ordered through Qdoba the App. Also I asked to speak to a manager and for a phone number to their regional manager. They then gave me a dead end number and took their phone of the hook.....its been 3 hours and I have called at random times and cant get a hold of anyone. I am out 2 days in a row for dinner for my family and out $58 for food I didn't receive. At this time no one has contacted me from corporate. I sympathize with the pandemic. I am a generous. And Iij tip everytime I order food. I wish my kids didn't love this place so much or I would never eat there again.... I can even imagine trying to understand uneducated and poorly trained employees. BUT THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!! DON'T USE...
Read moreAfter paying for our food yesterday, we decided not to eat it and abandoned two fully wrapped burritos (about $16) at the Englewood Qdoba. It was our first (and last) visit to that location.
The store was nothing short of disgusting. Lifeless and disinterested staff, stoves and cooking areas that were riddled with grime, hand-written signs taped to an oven, trashed floors, literally every element of the store that could be wiped down, needed to be wiped down. Food or sauce splatted against a back wall, dirty glass, prep areas, coke machines and of course floors. Worth noting: We were the only customers in the store.
When we took our food outside and found a kid that was smoking, coughing and hacking and NOT wearing a uniform then passed us and entered the kitchen through a (street facing) employee door that had been propped open.
At that point we decided to opt-out of the predictable case of diarrhea and abandoned our food. But not before taking several pictures of the prep/cooking areas.
I would eat at a food truck without blinking an eye. In Tijuana. My sons worked in food services and we know what goes on in a kitchen. In other words, we’re not delicate flowers that expect hospital grade cleanliness.
Hand to my heart, I don’t recall ever walking away from food out of fear of becoming sick and grossed-out by the condition of the facilities.
We eat at Qdoba no less than two-three times a month…we are genuine fans. Like I've got nothing better to do than write a review if it...
