Estes Valley Library — Attraction in Estes Park

I love this library and as a local I come here often with my family. HOWEVER, it wasn't until recently that when I brought my husband here that I had a bad experience with the staff upstairs. My husband is a very successful pharmacist and had to do some highly important meetings in a quiet space, and we figured the library would be perfect for this. When we decided to take the private study room, as soon as we shut the door we had a male staff member stand at the door waving at us in anger while rolling his eyes. I guess we had to sign a piece of paper (just write our name on a line, nothing slightly important) and we hadn't been aware of this until he threw a fit about it. A grown man. About 30 minutes into my husband's meeting we were interrupted by banging on the glass, because I had my leg up on a chair during his meeting. I probably will never return to this library again because this behavior was absolutely uncalled for and we didn't deserve this treatment. Great library with selection, awesome location, spectacular views, outstanding conference room and study rooms and stellar computer lab. Terrible staff. I have had no good experiences with the staff. Rude and unhelpful is how they are. From 2013 until last year, i was not given the opportunity to have a library card. Even though adequate residency proof was provided, no is what i got with alot of rude. That was until i posted a review about the situation. Now that i have a library card i dont go. I dont go to the library anymore because how i was treated and im uncomfortable there. Im giving you a bad review because you deserve one. My sibling and I visited for the Pokémon crafts event since we were in town, and they ended up helping the library worker keep it running smoothly. I went for a detour and was delighted to see (and read) a copy of Dr Moiya McTier's book The Milky Way: An Autobiography. I haven't seen it anywhere else before or since.
