We stayed at a nearby hotel and wanted some breakdown and STRGZR popped up. We are always open to trying a non-chain restaurant. We ordered the two egg betty ($12), kids chicken fingers (7.50), morning burrito($12) and a drip coffee ($1.50). Prices are pretty good considering the cost of eating out has skyrocketed in recent years. After tipping $7, I don't know how how this came to $50. After receiving the food, we realized we were charged for the super morning burrito ($14.50). It still doesn't add up. I did ask for a receipt but it was just the transaction record. The two egg betty was delicious and the skinny handout fries from the kids chicken fingers was perfect. We really didn't like the burrito with the pepperocinis.... well we didn't technically order that. The person taking our order appeared to be in training or new to the till. The lady working behind seemed to be on top of it - didn't expect her to watch over his every move though.

Read moreTaking a friend to lunch and this was nearby and hadn't been tried yet. While the menu looked basic (burger/fries/hotdogs) when we said we hadn't been in both the counter person and cook/owner, made sure we had questions answered. Like we got a choice of plain or garlic fries but it was just seasoning not chunks. We both got the pineapple burger (name started with a K) which wasn't stated on the laminated menu but the cook/owner made sure we were OK with (yes please). Nice sized burger with all the fixings, plus dill pickle on side as well as thin cut fries cooked perfectly and nice portions. We got cans of soda (cherry 7-up yay!) and walked out full with plans to come back sometime from breakfast. Do note that there's only 4 booths that maybe will fit 4-6 depending and 3...
Read moreIt’s a funky little cafe in the heart of Everett with sorta a beatnik hippy vibe tossing in a dash of humor with items on the menu like “Car Thief” and a few others!
It’s new and the owner is working out the kinks and very receptive to honest criticism.
I had the bacon cheese burger which was awesome, very tasty with fresh cut tomatoes, pickles, and lettuce. It reminded me of a smash burger yet retained the proper juices that chew it down with only minor sips off my soda. The fries are also freshly cut, thin but delectable!
Positive atmosphere, slamming espresso and coffee, great pastries and other delights. It’s very worthy of checking out and reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. I couldn’t finish the fries, oh and I overheard their...
