I had made an appointment to get a tire change over about a month ago. I went in to the appointment and it very much felt like they were looking for an excuse to not service me saying that I had booked the wrong kind of appointment online and that it needs to be the right one due to them taking a different amount of time. That is fine. I get that but I just made the wrong decision and truly did not know. I can own up to that. However, after I dropped my car off at 11:30, 45 minutes later, I got a call saying they wouldn’t be able to service my car due to the lug nuts not being 17mm as that is the stock size but instead they are 5/8th and they don’t have that size, which shocked me. They said even if they had that size they wouldn’t be able to take the lug nuts off due to them not being stock. Which again does not make any sense. They also had jacked up my car at the wrong point and not by the frame and in doing that they bent the shit out of the smaller weaker part of metal that you are most definitely not meant to jack the car up right there. My fiancé had asked if he took the tires off the car himself and brought the tires that had the rims on there and the new tires would they then put the tires on? They had said yes after all that effort and push back. It really just felt like we were being ignored even when they would tell us to go around back and grab the tires we would wait outside in the cold as people saw us and made eye contact it wasn’t until we knocked on the glass did they even come to acknowledge us. We have been at Costco 4 times already and will probably have to go back two more times today alone. Very very unsatisfied with my experience. This was my first review I’ve ever left for a business as this is way out of character for me. I felt the need to share due to another couple in front of us was having a hard time as well and it took three employees to help her. I feel like I might not be the only person having so much trouble with the Costco...
Read moreThe store is great but be careful with the Auto Center! I purchased a set of winter tires online from costco and after waiting 2 weeks, I got a notification from UPS saying that they were delivered at costco, however, after waiting in line for far too long, I was told that they're not actually delivered and that I need to come back in a couple of days. This process is repeated several times until finally I get an email from costco themselves saying that the tires finally arrived. Today, I went in to pick them up and after waiting in the auto center for 30 minutes at least, I finally get to the counter and ask to pick up my tires. They give me three of them and then proceed to look for the fourth tire for the next hour. After wasting over an hour and a half of my time, they finally inform me that they don't even have all 4 of my tires. So then, there was snow on the ground and I still don't even have all 4 of my tires in my posession let alone installed (that is a whole other nightmare) even though I had purchased them nearly a month before. The auto center has horrible wait times and has wasted 10+ hours of my time over the past month just trying to get a set of tires. Finally, two more weeks later they gave me an apology for wasting my time and offered to give me a refund for the tires and sell me a full set of Bridgestone Blizaks and install for $300 flat. This was a good deal and even though the install took 2-1/2 hours, it was still worth it for the price. Overall, just make sure you order your tires super far in advance and if you have any problems, contact the manager because they are the only one who can actually help you. As for the rest of the store, it is great and I enjoy shopping there, however be careful with the...
Read moreI love this place! When the other membership warehouse closed, I was sad since we had nothing like it closer than 360 miles. Then Costco announced they would take over the old building. Could I hear the sound of Angels' rejoicing? After watching them remodel the store for several months, I was excited to finally shop in the new store. The doors opened, I purchased a membership, and I was off to the races. Literally (not sure what that word means) skipping down the aisles while throwing rose petals, I was in heaven! With all the happy people looking around in wonder, I knew the opening was worth the wait. I have been shopping here almost a year now, and I still love it. The associates are always so helpful. The store consistently has what I am looking for. Even when the parking lot is full, the store feels open and inviting. Prices, Wow, everything feels like such a great deal, and then they have regular sales, so much value! My goodness, I almost forgot, free samples, need I say more, why yes I do. They always have free samples, and my daughter and l look forward to wandering from booth to booth sampling the goods. What fun! Compared to the previous membership warehouse, Costco is a shopping dream. I will continue purchasing the yearly membership, as long as Costco keeps their doors open. Thank you for providing such a great shopping experience!
Updated March 6, 2022 I have to say, through the two years of this craziness, Costco continues to provide all the groceries and supplies I need, and the service employees are always helpful and cheerful. I absolutely love...
