Goodwill Fairfield Store & Donation Station — Attraction in Fairfield

Nice Goodwill with some hidden gems but I found it to be very disorganized at the time that I came on a Saturday which probably isn't the best day to go. I found lots of really great items there. Unfortunately... and this had nothing to do with the staff or the store ..People were not being socially responsible whatsoever. People were bumping into me, shopping right next to me reaching over me, rude customers in general. There were some other people that walked right up to me talking to me about two feet away. Granted they had masks on but still. I didn't feel safe there and actually ended up leaving after I made a few purchases. I would feel better going on a day that it was not as crowded. Otherwise...

I was there today around 9:30 am 9/24 and the cashier was very rude. I couldn't see what her name was but she was dark skin with a nose pierced. I said hello and she didn't reply back, again I said good morning no response back. When she was taking the hangers out of my clothes she just throw them in the floor, like she was mad or something. At the end the only thing she said was * I dont take $100 bills* She was very rude from the beginning to the end, I just wanted to leave everything and leave. Worst experience ever. If you are going to work in customer service I mean at least said Hello. Never coming...

It's great having a Goodwill store so close-by but their customer service is severely lacking. I think I'm generally a pretty patient person, and try to be kind and courteous where-ever I go because I've worked customer service and get it... but oh boy, I've waited in line for 10, 15 minutes on end while workers have just hung around the aisles... multiple times.
