We arrived at 9 am on a Friday and found plenty of parking next to the water. But wasn't the case later in the day. The four of us had a great day of fishing. The water was very weedy which was expected at this time of year. However, the stocker rainbows were hungry and we had our limit before noon. I noticed much needed improvements to the fishing pier, but was very disappointed with the poor quality and cleanliness of the vault toilets, Out of town visits do not stop after Labor Day. They looked like they haven't been cleaned or serviced since the 4th of July. For such a popular tourist attraction in the city of Fairplay I thought was an embarrassment to the community.
