My wife and I stopped by today to pick up a ribeye for dinner. The gal working at the front desk was wonderful and helpful. We selected a 1.25 lb ribeye and took it back to our cabin. During thawing, I salted it thoroughly on both sides. It was beautifully marbled and a glorious deep red. I cooked it in a cast iron skillet for 5 minutes on each side and basted in butter. After a 10 minute, foil wrapped rest, it was ready. Perfect medium rare! My wife and I like hitting some of the best steakhouses in Denver, including Shanahan's, Eddie V's, Del Frisco's, Eddie Merlot's, Buckhorn Exchange... you get the picture. Read moreMy wife and I were there the week of Oct. 8-16-2022. We bought a 3 pound piece of chuck for beef stew and the meat was beautiful. That made Whole Foods chuck just so so and in Florida I buy meat from WF.
I got the burger but for me I like it ground twice. My daughter loved it and I bought her a pound for her freezer. All the meat at this store is frozen which makes sense.
I believe a family member served us that day and she was very nice. I really enjoyed the experience and quality meats.
