If it was possible, I would give this theater zero stars. With the theater bleeding money as is, you would think they would do more to make customers happy. My friends and I went to a showing of Minions, but were immediately singled out while standing in line for wearing formal attire as a joke. The employee (female, in her twenties, purple hair) asked if we were participating in a TikTok challenge where bananas are thrown at the screen. Being non-horrible human beings, we obviously weren’t going to throw bananas. We then got into the theater where the same woman immediately told us to leave without refund for taking a selfie during the trailers. Her reasoning was extremely vague, as she said we had to get out before she called the police. After leaving without issue, we recollected our thoughts in the parking lot, and were told we had to leave the area by an employee named Dustin. Dustin was belligerent and rude, as he did not listen to any form of reason. The whole ordeal seemed as if they saw a group of teenagers, and looked for any reason to kick us out. Not being able to watch the movie is fine, but we were not even heard out in our plea for a refund. I will be taking my business to a better, more well-ran movie theater from this point forward (which is not a difficult threshold to cross), and I suggest...
Read moreWhile I'm glad we have a theater in Farmington, this one is not sufficient for the growth the area has seen (and the fact that there aren't a LOT of other things to do on a weekend night...). AMC (or a competitor) would be well-served to build a larger theater - even an 8-10 plex. This one is always very busy on the weekend evenings.
Also, because of the small size of the theater (only 4 plex) the films I would like to see are rarely there. Most of the time we want to go to a move, we find that any of the films we would like to see are not available there and then end up not going. We would definitely frequent it a lot more if it had more space for more options.
Also - the lack of stadium seating is fairly non-existent these days - and that is something I really miss! Really would love stadium seating! Heck, other theaters are getting recliners - I just want some elevation! :) Also, the doors into the theater have no blockage between them and the theater, so every time someone comes in and out of the theater, it is flooded with light - not ideal for watching a movie!
Hoping that as this area continues to grow we will soon hear announcement of an improved...
Read moreI had a lot of fun watching the movie. But i unfortunately have a couple complaints… the movie was loud, and i mean loud loud. Like I thought about trying to find some ear plugs in my car it was so loud. I could see another movie playing on the top left of the screen in theater 1. So my husband says if the movie we want to see is in theater 1, we’ll pass. The lights on the right side, never dimmed down. And one of the most important things the seats, they were pretty uncomfortable… my husband is going to complain all day about his back now. I brought a pillow to rest my head and they weren't that bad to me… but they all felt…. Moist. Like they’d all just been sprayed down with something but they hadn’t. So when you sit on a seat that moist feeling for nearly two hours, you start getting itchy…. And boy was my back getting itchy. I was getting so itchy I was starting to worry there were bugs biting me. But I think it was just the material or the moistness of the seats. I just hate that when I left I kind of felt relieved we...
