While dragonfly stated wholeheartedly that it was something different from the rest it was not. I received the exact same experience and treatment I would from any other gym. Cold, hard, and without personalization. Any of the classes that fit into my schedule were way too advanced for me despite everything being rated as "for everyone". When I had a hard time and needed some leeway and hoped that they were not the stereotypical gym they were. I was initially told the membership was month to month but this was not the case when I tried to cancel. Furthermore, I was intitially lead to believe that the price was 69.99 a month for the first year, turns out it was only the first month! After the first it was 100.00 a month! I feel as though I was mislead on this fact when I asked about it.
For the price I would recommend going to Inner Fire or otherwise elsewhere. You can expect the same kind of treatment as any other gym. Also, all the classes are labelled as "beginner" and "for everyone" but I can assure you this is only the case if you are already in great shape and work out. I got sick of hearing everyone talking about being in marathons and ironman! Any bigger than stick thin and you will feel out of place -...

Having practiced Yoga now for well over a decade I have been around to many studios in multiple states. It is always a delight to experience the various forms practiced in each studio. Every Yoga establishment has its own flavor or feel. Whether you are looking for an introductory level class or an advanced challenge you will find it all at Dragonfly. Hot Yoga is truly an experience of total emersion. Fear not if you are new...there are classes for you. I would advise starting with a slow flow or a Yin class. For more advanced practices, Flow is always different and well conceived. Fire and Fusion are the most advanced of the offerings at Dragonfly. Fusion is my favorite: a scripted class at 105 degrees F. 70 minutes of ample challenge featuring sun salutations along with Bikram poses. One piece of advice--download the Dragonfly app. and book your classes in advance. In the winter time, classes are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am one of those people who has never really enjoyed exercise. I'm not a runner, biker, nor do I like working on equipment at a gym. However, I wanted to start getting into better shape and I was nervous to try Dragonfly, thinking it might be too advanced for me, or that I would be embarrassed because I'm not stick-thin and in perfect shape. I have to say, it's been a wonderful experience for me. I have never felt unwelcome. All of the instructors encourage you to practice at your own pace and there is never any pressure to push yourself beyond your limits. I'm always greeted with smiles when I walk in the door and the studios are fresh, clean, bright, and fun. I've never felt that my classes are too crowded either. Dragonfly has become my little sanctuary--a place where I can get away each day and let the stress...
