I scheduled a Mother of the Bride appointment for my mom the day before we went. When we arrived we were told that our stylist would be a few minutes due to finishing up another clientâs appointment. We were understanding and started looking around on our own. About 10-15 minutes goes by and the girl who greeted us told us that sheâd be helping us. She took the few dresses that we had and put them in the dressing room for my mom to try on. The girl stepped away and my mom started trying on dresses. Mom came out in the first one and the girl was no where to be found to help us with zipping, clipping the back of the dress, nothing. Mom took off the dress and kept going. We get to dress number three and she finally shows up and asks if we need anything. We asked her to try a belt with the dress my mom had on and she said sure. Five minutes go by, she comes back and we try the belt on and liked it. The âstylistâ was approached while with us and was told that a âbig party had arrived and she really needed to help themâ. So to me, it sounded like she was going to be helping both my mother and I and the large group. That wouldnât have been an issue if she had been attentive to us before and after the fact. My mom and I were instantly dropped for a larger group and we werenât told anything other than sheâd be âright backâ. This was a really bad experience considering this was our first time going out and looking for mother of the bride dresses. I am really disappointed and feel like we were completely disregarded the entire appointment. When you book a private session, you should get a private session AND the âstylistâ who was originally a greeter, should be attentive to the group sheâs with. Having two clients to deal with is fine when you can manage them both. Iâm really disappointed and when I called to let you guys know about our experience you said âoh yeah sorry we were just busyâ. Thatâs not a good answer. Our first experience together (mom and I) trying on dresses is something I can never get back. I hope you really read this and think about how you guys treat brides and their moms. Iâm so...
Read moreI absolutely cannot say enough WONDERFUL things about my experience here. I have not tried on any dresses prior to coming, so this was my first time and therefore an experience I was going to remember forever. This was a special day. Abbie, my stylist, was perfect. She was attentive, funny, conplimentative, and made me feel comfortable when I was so nervous deep down. I didnât exactly know what kind of dress I was going for but I picked up on little details along the way. (She never tried to get me to go over my budget or convince me into something I wasnât comfortable with, which was big for me). But after trying on 4 dresses, Abbie offered to go find a dress that met the different qualities I decided I liked on the few dresses I tried. Abbie came back with THE dress. She heard me loud and clear on all my favorite parts of the other dresses and pulled out a magic trick with this dress, I swear. It was stunning, exactly what I wanted, within budget, a 15/10. You freaking go, Abbie! It was the only one that made my mom lose her breath and start crying, so you know itâs the one! Madison was also SO sweet. She just kept complimenting me and making me feel PERFECT in this dress. I couldnât stop twirling and staring at myself when she talked. She really sealed the deal in my head with this dress - everybody needs a good âreactionâ, you know? And Alexia was very informative about alterations and down to earth. She really wanted to hear the details of my future elopement in the Rocky Mountains and made me feel like she wasnât rushed and actually cared. She even provided some inspiration ideas for me! All three of these girls were a huge part of why my experience was so successful and Iâm still beaming with joy at 4:30am when I canât sleep the next morning because Iâm just so happy. Abbie, Alexia, and Madison - thank you girls. You rock and I am so appreciative for your help...
Read moreWHAT AN AWFUL AND DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE!!! I wish 0 stars was an option because this store deserves it.
I arrived for my 10:30 appointment on Saturday, 10/29/2022, 15 minutes early ONLY to be ignored for 30 minutes... while other brides, who came in after me, were already being helped and taken to the platform. I had to find a stylist myself, who then remembered that I had been waiting and proceeded to take me to a platform, that already had 2 other brides on it with around 20-25 people surrounding it. Not only was I in the way, it was not going to be a personal experience with the family that I brought (4 people). There were no chairs for them either. I was then taken to the side of the platform (typically where the bridesmaids try on dresses).
The stylist then proceeded wrote down the numbers from the samples that I wished to try on, then NEVER returned for 45 minutes!! The stylist kept helping other brides and checking people out at the front counter. She made eye contact with myself and my family throughout the 45 minute wait.
I eventually just walked out. The only thing she could say (in a very snarky voice that I might add) was "so sorry"... I felt very disappointed, feeling as if I was not "worth it", and just overall embarrassing.
Brooke, the Operations Manager, overheard what happened as I was exiting the building as she was coming in for her shift. Brooke apologized for the teams behavior and actions. I sincerely hope that this teaches them to treat everyone the same and to be more attentive to their customers!!
Such a bad experience, that we are returning the bridesmaid dresses and have now bought nicer/cheaper ones from BRIDAL & FORMAL. Where we should have gone in the 1st place.
Thank you for making a bride feel so small on a very...
