Well, give me a a coupon and I will make time to check to see if thé store has anything I need or want. So I go in yesterday I went into the Hallmark on Mall road with coupons in hand. I pick out some items then go to check-out. I hand my coupons to be redeemed over to the cashier. She scans one which she says has already been redeemed. I'm thinking how could that be since I haven't been to Hallmark in a while, definitely not after I received the coupons either in email or mail. I'm ok until I give her another one and she says the same thing. Now I really confused, I am not able to use either coupon. I didn't purchase all the items I wanted. I think that is bad business. Wife and I walked in to look at the new ornaments. Most was on display but not all of them were on the shelf. Young lady was putting some on the shelf. But she didn't great us or anything. Just said in a rude way "They're not for sale yet". My wife simply explained that "we saw them online and just wanted to look at them." She didn't have to be like that. We wasn't ready to buy any anyway. We enjoy just looking at them. We usually go to the one in the mall but decided to go in Ann's. I think we'll stick with the mall. They are nicer. went in with my husband, was never greeted and never asked if we needed help. when we found our items and went to the register the customer before me got all kinds of help and what seemed to be a manager said to the cashier give this lady 5 dollars off. speaking about the woman in front of me. when it was my turn I asked about the 20% off and was told it is only on-line and you would have to order the items and pick up from this store. I asked about how to do that never got any help. I ended up only buying one of my 6 items and left. I was the only person of color in that store.
