HomeBuys - Florence — Attraction in Florence

Hello. I wanted to share another bad experience with the Florence Kentucky Home Buys location. I recently saw an advertisement for bras for $6.99 on the shelf. I proceeded to purchase them and they rang up wrong at $7.99. The cashier asked for a manager to go check. The manager proceeded to go check and after 2min the cashier and myself began to wonder what was going on. The manager was removing the stickers and telling the cashier to proceeded with ringing the bras up for $7.99. I said no you just removed all the stickers off the shelfs and they're in your hand. She proceed to say that it was $7.99 on the shelf. I said no everything was $6.99 and if you turn around there is a huge sign that states $6.99. After back and forth comments the manager then proceeded with saying customers puts stuff in the wrong place. I said no it was too many bras in one spot for someone to just mistakenly put it in the wrong spot. Then she proceeded to tell the cashier to remove all the stickers off the shelf and throw them away. Never experience something so wrong when a manager refuses to honor a sticker price. I decided to go venture out in Florence one day with the husband because we are new to the area (we're from Indiana) and we were in dire need of decorations for our new home! So we decided to visit the HomeBuys here! We were hoping to find something that suits the theme of our new living room. As soon as we walked in through the doors, we were greeted with a putrid smell. We paid no mind to it until we got to the carpet section. The smell became stronger than before. I can't even describe this headache inducing smell without having the urge to vomit. Yes, it was THAT bad. As a normal person would do, we immediately left that section. Then we went to go look through the shelves for wall decorations and other trinkets. To my horror, there were a bunch of "chocolate sprinkles" all over the place. I was completely disgusted. I am very surprised no one has reported this place to the health inspectors. Me and my husband just left this store everything was fine until we went to leave. We was purchasing a pressure washer and had no way to get it to the check out. My husband sees a small dolly and gets it only to transfer the pressure washer. One employee grabs something and hands it to another employee while pointing at my husband. The employee very rudely ask my husband if he plans on purchasing the dolly? My husband tells him no he thought it was to help customers. Again very rude the employee says no I have the receipt. My husband puts it back before we even get to the check out and the same employee came out side while we was loading our SUV.
