Lee Wenner Park — Attraction in Florida

It has really went downhill the guy that used to work there I think was named Jim was an excellent person the new guy does not even empty the trash all the time hey does not pick up the trash around the boat ramp it is left up to the people that come in in their dinghies there's a part of a burnt boat and a canoe sitting there for over 3 weeks now full of trash and water ever since the new guy has took over the place has went to pot he has no care for his job I have actually sat there and watched him sleep the park used to be really nice but it's just okay now the kids don't even play over there I don't think the tables have been wiped off since when Jim left it's no good anymore just simply stating the park has really...

Great place for launching boats. This is located along the south side of SR 520 as you are travelling west and reach the mainland. It is a fairly large park. It looks to have about 60 spots for vehicles with trailers and another 40 for just cars. It has a wide boat ramp for launching and recovering boats split into 4 ramps and docks parallel to each other. There is also a nice walkway along the water. At the East end of the park there is a place to walk under the bridge. The area was clean and well kept when I visited and it is obviously right on the water at the foot of the bridge so has lovely views...

Cocoa village is a Great little area very walkable from Lee Wenner Park! Boat ramps & docks, & free parking. Busy on the weekends but quiet during the week. Lots of restaurants, bars, & shops within a mile. Dog friendly!! Has public bathrooms, water fountains for kids to play in, & events on the weekends- very family oriented area. Lots of sailboat anchored out & friendly people all around. Sometimes people are sleeping/living in the park but seemed harmless. Police do patrol the area so nothing negative really to say about the homeless/house...
