I would not recommend visiting this Sephora location in Flower Mound. My family and I had an incredibly disappointing experience with the manager, who was extremely rude and unprofessional. We were attempting to exchange a $120 perfume for a $155 one and asked if we could still apply the 20% discount we had used on the original purchase. We weren’t asking for any additional discounts—just a fair exchange. The day before, at the same location, we had successfully exchanged a perfume and retained the discount, so we were confused when this time it wasn’t allowed.
Instead of calmly explaining the policy, the manager immediately escalated the situation. When we asked for clarification, she condescendingly said, “I don’t make the rules; I just follow them.” We tried to de-escalate by saying, “Okay, we were just confused because this worked yesterday,” but she continued to argue with us, insisting it couldn’t have been at this location—even though we had receipts to prove otherwise.
What upset us most was how unnecessarily combative and disrespectful she became. She started raising her voice at my parents in front of other customers, which was completely uncalled for. When we finally decided to leave, she sarcastically said “Bye” in the most condescending tone.
We weren’t trying to cause a scene; we simply wanted clarification. Instead, we were met with hostility and disrespect. This kind of behavior from a manager is unacceptable, and we won’t be returning to this location. If you’re looking for good customer service, I suggest avoiding this...
Read moreI stopped by today and had trouble finding my shade of a popular foundation, and Sydney took the time to check the system and locate extra stock in the back which I really appreciated. She checked me out at the front and was very friendly. When I got home I noticed two of my items weren’t in my bag and I knew it either rolled out in my boyfriend’s car on the way home, or may have been left at the store (she took my items out out to put them in a larger bag and I worried maybe they didn’t all make it into my larger bag). My bf’s phone died so I couldn’t reach him to confirm yet, so I called the store just to check and make sure I didn’t leave it there. They took my concern seriously and even checked footage to double check. I didn’t need them to do that (definitely believed they didn’t have it), but it made me feel so assured! I know the extra step must have been a hassle but it really put me at ease until I could check the car. Sure enough it was there! They really went above and beyond, and it must have been a bit annoying but it was so appreciated! I consistently have this level of care here and rarely find things to be out of stock. Read moreI wish I remembered the name of the guy who helped me, but they were incredibly attentive. I went in wanting to use some vouchers I had for a perfume & mascara. They were very efficient in helping me find those items & even shade matched me for a concealer that they suggested. I love the product they picked out for me & the shade is just what I was looking for.
While they didn’t have the shade in stock that I needed, they directed me to another location where they had it! This is a super friendly Sephora and I’m always greeted & helped right away. Sephora is one of those stores where the associated actually help guide you in the store and don’t detract from your shopping experience. Another reason I like this store is because it’s located close to another Sephora in Kohl’s, so you can almost always find what you’re looking for!
