Hobby Lobby — Local services in Flower Mound

I wanted to order a poster my friend had seen up in CO, at a Hobby Lobby there. They had told me at the register, that I could order it at the framing desk. I went back and rang the bell multiple times, with people hanging out in the room behind the desk, doing absolutely nothing, staring at me, not wanting to help me or the people behind me, in line, at their desk. When a guy came out, he said they wouldn't order it and if they did, I'd have to have ALL of the info on it, including the SKU #. Then he said he'd check with the manager for me even though I didn't ask him to. At this point I was extremely upset. When the manager came over, he blatantly said no, he would not order it for me, even though I told him it was a poster Hobby Lobby carried and that at the register they had said I could order it at the this desk. I was crushed. I have been watching their poster retail for weeks trying to catch this poster in their stock. I'm so torn.

I do not like the philosophy of the owners of hobby lobby how they can discriminate against women and not pay for their birth control pills.

I really hate that I find it despicable that they can take their religious belief and hoist it not only on to their employees.

It's really upsetting to me and I go out of my way to not go there.

But having said that I will say that they do have really cute things that are adorable and very reasonably priced.

But I do believe that you need to consciously spend your money where the philosophes align with your own.

And sadly, the owners of the store have gone out of their way 2 push their beliefs. (And while I am a Christian, I don't think you should force your religion down anyone's throat)

So I no longer shop there. 😪

This store was the worst hobbies lobby I have ever been to. When I went to check out the lady at the register saw me pull up the 40 percent of the highest priced item. She immediately informed me that the coupon was for the highest priced item. I said okay cool. She rang me up and then went in and discounted an item unbeknown to me. I asked what item amd how much and she replied with the highest regular priced item like I was to know which on she did already. I said I was just asking and told her to relax a little.
