Michaels — Local services in Flower Mound

Joanne‘s loyal people beware. Michael stated on their website that they were going to be part of Joanne‘s and have a section in their store. So I popped in to buy some fabric. When the girl went to cut it in the framing department behind the wall so I couldn’t see what she was doing. I asked her to leave a tiny bit on the sides like Joanne’s would always do so that we could make sure our material is even for our patterns. When she came back from behind the wall, I asked her if she had done that and she told me no this wasn’t Joannes. This was Michaels and they don’t do that. I politely explained how material needs to be even in that Joanne‘s always gave you a little bit on the side to do that. And again she repeated this wasn’t Joanne. This was Michaels and they don’t do that. I asked to speak to the manager in hopes to help other people that were loyal to Joannes and now we’re trying to be loyal to Michaels, and the manager told me that they had never had a problem with that girl and really blew me off and didn’t really care. I think it’s crazy how they have such an opportunity to help all of us people that were loyal to Jones for so many years.And yet they can’t step up and make us loyal to their brand. Very...

Sooooo glad to have Michaels as my "go to" instead of that other place nearby. Have been in several times and always am impressed by the friendly greetings and the knowledgeable staff that seems to know JUST what I'm looking for when sometimes I'm not exactly sure WHAT I'll be needing to solve my problem. ALSO - was having issues with my sewing machine and brought it in to be serviced and the extremely knowledgeable gentleman working in the sewing section kindly helped me troubleshoot and figured out the problem! I am so glad to have a Michael's nearby this spooky season! :) But Halloween aside, this Michael's is quickly becoming my "go to" place for crafting supplies. It is well-lit and very clean. And the store is laid out well making it easy to find exactly what you are looking for. They have an excellent selection of merchandise. I love the ease of the self-checkout registers. There is never a wait to check-out. And even though it is a self-checkout, there is always one or two employees waiting to help patrons even before...
