The Markey Escape Rooms — Attraction in Fort Collins

Amazing customer service and presentation! Our attendant was so friendly and seemed passionate about her work! The tomb did get very warm for the 7 of us - though perhaps appropriately so for adding Egyptian tension! ^_^ I would just advise dressing to stay cool! Small and useful flashlights with bracelet loops, paper, clipboards, and pencils were provided! Personal effects, such as phones, were also permitted as long as you didn't take pictures or videos, obviously! The door wasn't locked, so we could come and go if needed, though the timer kept going, of course!

There was always something to do for all 7 of us through collaboration! We were all adults varying from late 20s to 60s! Very challenging puzzles, though the hints seemed personalized and extremely helpful when we asked for them! The room setup looked excellent overall, and the effects in sound and game mechanics were so immersive and wonderful! We got out with just around 3 minutes to spare, which was incredibly thrilling! Incredibly fun escape room experience! We vacillated between being completely immersed in the Alice in Wonderland experience and stepping back to say, "Wow!" throughout our hour trying to solve all the puzzles at the room set up, the creative puzzles, and when another door would open to a magical new area. Even our 4 and 6 year old enjoyed the time and marveled at the experience. We kept thinking about the escape room and the different puzzles and riddles the rest of that day and into the next - a sign that it was an engaging and very fun experience while we were visiting Fort Collins. It was obvious that so much time and thought has gone into making the rooms and the location as a whole. We loved the movie theater motif of the Markey and thought the staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and fun in how they set us up for our time with them. I absolutely loved The Tomb Of The Forgotten! Our group of 5 had a blast getting submerged in the story line and taking in the detailed room. The puzzles were very creative, fun, and the puzzles were almost all unique from any of the other 10+ rooms I've attempted to escape. The difficulty was perfect for our mix of new-comers as well as escape veterans. Each of us had the opportunity to solve some puzzles, and each puzzle had us all thinking together.
