I haven’t eaten here and don’t think I will any time soon
I visit my boyfriend just about every weekend in Fort Collins. We both stay in the State Apartments a few doors down from Snack Attack. I’m currently in the military and due to our limited time together I’m usually not too familiar with the local parking situation.
About 3 weeks ago, just before the holidays my car was towed on behalf of Snack Attack. It appears that they have this predatory system set up between themselves and Fort Collins Towing. Because they own the parking lot, if any car is parked outside of state apartments, but within their lot that extends in front of the apartment building, you will get towed.
I’m a student and so is my boyfriend. We were looking to try out snack attack one of these days, but now we both refuse to go there. Other students that we know have also been subject to their predatory towing system. I’d understand towing cars if their establishment was constantly full and using the lot(filling every space). But having been up to the state apartments every few weeks, I’ve never seen more than 4-5 cars parked outside of their establishment. The lot probably has around 20+ parking spots available.
I can’t speak to the food of snack attack but I will say that I’ll continue to spread the word, that they are actively partnered with the Fort Collins towing to entrap students. It cost $300 to pick up my car from Fort Collins. When I went to pick up my car there were over 3 other students with me. With CSU practically next door, Im not sure why they would set up such a system since only college students at state are being penalized by this system.
As a student and member of the Air Force, I have no idea how they expect anyone to pay off such a large fee.
It seems almost malicious. I don’t believe an establishment that actually cares about the local community would set up a system where local students are charged over $300 for parking in a lot that usually only contains 3-5 cars of customers that are actually in snack attack. I hope the owner reads this message and reconsiders the deviant system that they have in place. It continues to turn away potential customers including myself.
I left this review 3 weeks after the fact because I wanted to ensure the my review wasn’t malicious but objective. I also figured, maybe I’d reconsider snack attack. I haven’t and I won’t be going there...

Read moreBOYCOTT THIS BUSINESS: This weekend is move-in weekend at CSU. This snack shop is located just a few feet from the State on Campus apartment building and they claim they own the spaces directly in front of State. Whether or not that is true is not even relevant right now. My point is that the owner posts signs in front of these spaces telling people they will be towed if they park there. He yells at people to leave if they park there. Keep in mind that the spaces DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF the business are completely empty. Residents and their parents just want to be able to unload quickly and vacate.
I get it that he needs the space in front of his busiiness for his customers but there are a large number of spaces in front of his business that are ALWAYS empty everytime I've visited.
It seems to me that if he instead posted a sign that said, "Welcome Students! Feel free to park in Snack Attack's parking over move-in weekend (and then in small print maybe put "At all other times, please keep spaces available for our customers"), he would create a ton of goodwill and would atttact all those residents. Instead, I'll bet most residents avoid the place because they're so rude and hateful.
By the way, I noticed this place appears to have really good reviews. But if you look at 90% of the reviews, they are made by people where it is their only review. Which is a sure sign that it's a...
