I guess the 1 star is for having AC when walking in the restaurant because once you sit down, the experience is horrible. Came here with my kids, my sister and her boyfriend. My kids and I have not had indian food before so this was all new to us, but excited to try. We sat down and they gave us all water, that's normal... what wasn't normal was the ice melted in 7 minutes. The serve comes and doesn't speak good enough English to answer questions about menu items, and they were out of "mini noodles" on the kids menu which also didn't seem right. We all order and it really took a long time for the food to come out, and when it did come out, it wasn't all at once. All our food came out 1 at a time in 5-10 minute increment, to the point we had to ask if the last order was forgotten because it was taking a long time. During this time we asked the bus boy about our last order and he went to the server and she came to the table to tell us it will be out soon and during this time I asked for a drink menu which I never did receive. I'm not gonna judge the food because this was our first time and I'm not sure how it's suppose to taste or look, but it was okay. Finally we ate our food and wait for the check to come which also took a very long time. We asked the server if we pay at the table or the front and she said I'll bring it to you. She does, and another 10 minutes go by before she picks it up. We wait for our cards, and it got to the point of after not receiving our cards we get up to go retrieve them from the front. Customer service was horrible and I will...
Read moreI am a fan of Indian food and I can say that the food here tastes a lot better than the other "Indian" restaurants in Fort Collins. I actually like their "Thali". The food here is priced reasonably and tastes more authentic than other places. You should taste their deserts. They are awesome. But I hate the service. You will be bugged continuously by the owner Sai.
I visited the place with a couple of my friends and we barely had any privacy. Whenever we were having a conversation he would appear from nowhere and constantly ask us about the quality and taste of the food and insists on trying other options in the restaurant. It's okay for a restaurant manger to ask around about the food occasionally but this was too much.
I can handle some serious spice levels, thanks to my Indian friends but I was forced by Sai to opt and order for a mild version of the "Biryani". He tries to force his views on the customers, especially on Americans. If you are an American, expect constant bugging from the owner. Some of my Indian friends also had similar experience. It's more peaceful to order a take out from this place and enjoy the food at home than to go to the restaurant.
Advice to the management - Stop bugging people or else you lose business even though you have great tasting food. You are bringing a disgrace to the Indian community in Fort Collins. None of my Indian friends and colleagues are like this. Be professional in customer service. Don't force your thoughts on them. We have our own likes and dislikes and we know what...
Read moreBawarchi is one of the famous restaurants in Fort Collins, and I love to go there. One of the reasons is the Indian food. I always eat Indian food in my country, and I thought that there was no better food than that one. However, when I came here and tasted the food, I changed my mind. The food is different because of the taste, flavor, and quality. Besides, all items listed on the menu are delicious and of great quality and good quantity. Another reason that Bawarchi is the best restaurant in Fort Collins is that it has an excellent place and wonderful customer service. Amazing staff will help you pick up what to eat very kindly, and they will offer you a quick service. Also, I usually see different people from different countries visiting the restaurant. I like this place for their cooperation and flexibility in providing food. The restaurant location is easy to find and near my house. Another important reason for this wonderful restaurant is the power of ads. You can find brochures everywhere and distribute them to people. They also offer free delivery for your first order via the Grubhub app to attract people. Bawarchi serves special meal, lunch, and dinner in an authentic style. Moreover, they use social media a lot, especially Facebook. As you know, Facebook is the third largest website in the world in terms of the number of visitors. So, it is a clever way from Bawarchi to advertise their awesome products. Finally, all the restaurants are great, and in the end, everyone chooses and enjoys their...
