Washington Bridge Plaza — Attraction in Fort Lee

GWB terminal is a clean and well managed terminal. Buses on time. Nice places to shop , even a great supermarket. All the bus drivers and port of authority employees are kind and professional.

My only issue is the mini buses that are allowed to operate. Only when I'm running late , will I use this service. Buses are burning diesel fuel and the fumes will choke you. During the summer , only a few have working air conditioning. Feels like I'm suffocating when there's no ac. The condition of most of the buses are over used and feel like there falling apart. I've had many trips where the drivers, drove recklessly. Most of the drivers don't speak a word of English. And the terminal allows the mini bus managers who stand just outside the elevators which come up to the street ,to yell in your face, to drive you to use there service. There staff dresses like homeless people. They charge nearly double than NJ transit. Wouldn't be an issue if they had ac and kept the buses clean. There's always people's left over lunch trash on many of the seats. The port authority must reset there operation or bring another company to provide...

The shopping plaza right next to the bridge is a small but insanely busy place. The Walgreens is very popular and a great place for everything from pharmacy to beauty store to electronics. Next to it is one of my all time favorites: Sun Mery's Bakery! Highly recommended!!! It gets better: there's a brand new Dollar Tree, a great bagel place, a well known Chinese food place called ,,U,, Like. Also 5 Guys Burgers, Verizon store and a small place called Punta Cana which I have yet to visit. You have the GWB bus stop right there going either to the city or to all Jersey points. Even better you can skip the bus, there's a taxi stand even closer right on...

The place is filthy,their sidewalks in front of every store here are dirty.Also the garbage bins here are dirty,even though we have reported them to the health department of Fort Lee.The sidewalks also need repairs this has been reported to the Fort Lee NJ building department,but nothing has been done..The bathroom at Walgreens has a terrible odor inside,the dollar store has a very bad odor inside it all the time to the point that you can get intoxicated again the Fort Lee Health department has been notified,but they do nothing.Things are to be escalated soon.We are not to put up with dysfunctional and filthy...
