Cigar Shop & Tobacco — Attraction in Fort Mill

If I could give zero stars I would. The owners are nasty and inconsiderate. I laid away a cigar box which I was told would be $5 after all the cigars were sold out of it. I left my contact information and the person working that day called the owners to confirm the price of the cigar box the day I laid it away. She insured me I would receive a call when the box was available. I never received a call. I went in today and was informed that the cigar box is now $50! The owner would not honor the previous price and was so rude. Unbelievable. She did not even act like she cared I was upset till I told her I was going to post a "glowing review" of her establishment on Google. I really like the people who run this shop. And, a good selection of cigars. Clean and well maintained. Great place for Stogie smokers. However, recently announced $10 minimum purchase to use a credit card will hurt the business. I have purchased $5 in a visit and have purchased $100+ in a visit. If I can’t use my card for a small purchase, then I will likely move my small & large purchases to a different retailer. My husband has been going to this cigar shop on a pretty regular basis and although he's always found the owner to be a little rude, he's continued to shop here. Until recently when the owner went over the top with a credit card charge. IF you have a minimum to charge - POST IT! Put a sign next to the register or at the door so your customer is aware beforehand. Also - don't follow your customers - no one wants to be treated like a thief!
