Update (21 March, 2024):

Naf Naf Grill went from a dismal 2 stars (see my previous review below) to a solid 4 stars, which I've updated. I never called the owner/manager, and never received any "compensation" for my previously negative review.

We have been pleased with our subsequent orders (we get to-go orders very frequently from this restaurant.) If the bowls we order are full, I know the manager/owner's wife is on-duty. If the bowls come back less full, I ask my wife if the male manager/franchise owner was filling the order. Her response is always: "Yes".

It's a roll of the dice, but here's hoping the wife is the one filling your order.

I HATE writing negative reviews...I wrote one on the neighboring Capriotti's Subs...for good reason. (My last Waygu Beef sandwich the "SlawBeJo" was a coleslaw sandwich with a slice of Waygu beef throw in to make it legal.)

My wife and I LOVE this place since it recently opened. Today we ordered several main dishes to include a full-price Hummus plate ($13-14) to go.

Getting home, we opened the FULL-price Hummus bowl: 4 Falafel balls with a smear of hummus lining the plate.

In plain English, the full-price bowl wasn't filled with hummus, with Falafel balls on top, it was a bowl "painted" with hummus (with a spatula) along the sides with 4 falafel balls on top. No olive-oil, no spices.

It was a $3 side disguised as a $14 main.

Disgusted.

Capritotti's, to their credit, offered me a free sandwich. I don't want anything free from Capriotti's, or Naf Naf. I want an apology, and an assurance that my next order will be filled correctly.

Quality control your service staff, or you'll lose my business, and many others.

I post this so my fellow Tega Cay/Fort Mill consumers know what's up. Check your "To Go" orders. If the owners aren't there handling you your order, open the bag, and make sure you're getting what...

In short, delicious fresh food with very friendly and helpful staff.

First, the staff member who made my bowl was one of the nicest people I've ever met at a casual restaurant. I had never been here before so she gave me samples of some sauces, and explained what every ingredient was, where it came from, how fresh it was, and what she recommended. She is clearly knowledgeable and passionate about her food. She told me her and her husband own and run the place, and you can tell she cares about it. Best customer service experience I've ever had at a restaurant.

Now on to the food. I got couscous and rice with falafel and some toppings all to go. It was hot and soft and delicious. The falafel was put in another bag to keep it crispy and fresh. Every single thing tasted and felt fresh and full of flavor. I got a few sauces and all of them were delicious. I can't recommend one specifically because they were all delicious. My wife got rice and baba ganoush with shawarma and it was also delicious (I had some of hers too).

I also got the baklava and apparently they recently changed the recipe to add more flavor. It was delicious.

It was so good that I ate it too fast to take any pictures for the review.

The food was great, the customer service was great, and either one by itself would have made me a...

We had an exceptional experience with the catering menu for 25 people. The service was outstanding, and the food was truly impressive. A special mention goes to Neel, who went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. Even when we decided to place a last-minute order from Naf Naf's Fort Mill SC location shortly before closing time, Neel's exceptional customer service shone through. He patiently guided us through the ordering process, reassured us that our order was in good hands, and confirmed its receipt, even after closing hours.

The next day, right on schedule, we received a text and a call from Neel, letting us know that our order was ready. The food itself was nothing short of extraordinary – the flavors were mind-blowing, and every dish was incredibly tasty. The catering package came complete with all the essentials, including plates, bowls, spoons, and serving utensils. They thoughtfully included an array of sauces, rice, salads, and the delicious main protein we had chosen.

Our overall experience rates a solid 10/10. I highly recommend giving this place a try – you'll be thoroughly impressed and won't be left...

Read the reviews, and not just the good ones! Food poisoning doesn’t just coincidentally happen to more than one customer at one restaurant. We too got sick from this food. First time here and last. Came in after we were disgusted by First Watch’s dirty dining room. This place was at least clean to the naked eye. Manager or owner in orange polo (everyone else had black) waited on us, did everything a revenue monger would do, but in a tricky, fast and deceitful way. Ordered a platter, asked which TWO meats I wanted, but failed to mention the upcharge. He offered “this or that”, but failed to mention they didn’t “come” included on the platter or not. They got almost $22 from this dummy for a lunch, but never again. Deceptive practices and the food was not even that great. Saturday lunch rush and there were only a couple tables…what does that tell you? Also, there’s mold on the left side of the ice machine—gross. I can’t believe more people don’t get sick off this food. The chicken had obviously been sitting out awhile because it was all crusty and dried up. Got to Cava, much better quality and people don’t report getting sick!

Awful service, ridiculously expensive for what it is. Had never been to this place and didn’t know what to expect. Went on a weekend afternoon and only one other customer inside. Two employees were talking with each other and couldn’t be bothered to look up when we walked in. It wasn’t clear which end we were supposed to order at so we told the workers “sorry, we haven’t been here and don’t know how it works” and they just stared at us like we were a disturbance instead of offering to explain the menu or where you even order. They also mumbled so quietly when we asked questions and when we would say “sorry, what was that?” they just stopped repeating themselves and glared at us. The service was truly appalling. The quality of the food was terrible too. The chicken was dry, cold, and gristly, the whole pita was soggy and fell apart, and there were barely any other toppings put into either my or my husbands pita. Neither of us finished our meal because they were just so bad. $28 for 2 disgusting, inedible pitas and horrendous service, no thanks, we won’t be back.

Glad to see some variety of food (especially a healthier option) come to Fort Mill. Naf Naf is most similar to Cava, offering a Mediterranean fast food option. Picture a bowl with a base of something like baba ganoush or hummus, topped with rice, a protein like chicken or falafel, and then some other toppings of your choice. Pretty healthy! The food was good. Certainly fresh and flavorful. I definitely prefer Cava though (better flavors and a few more options). But until they get a Cava or Chopt in Fort Mill, this will be in my regular rotation of healthier restaurants. Found it odd they didn't serve fresh tea. Maybe they'll add that later. You can eat vegetarian here. Probably not the best spot for bringing kids unless you plan to force feed them this healthy food - haha. But there are other kid-friendly options on the same sidewalk.
