Walker's Oak & More Furniture — Attraction in Fort Oglethorpe

Impressed. Ordered my custom built counter height table back in February. Granted the wait was long (July 9) but it was during the pandemic. The table is all we hoped for and more. Looks beautiful in our dining space. Very nice, courteous and professional people working there. The delivery was prompt and I was very impressed with how well they had protected the furniture for the trip from Fort Oglethorpe to Hixson. The prices were good for custom made solid oak and we were not ok with buying a table that was twice the price with “man made” material that ends up breaking in a few years. We bought a table set a few years ago and my 120 pound teenage son used one of the chairs to change a lightbulb and the seat snapped right in the middle (particle board). Not with this oak table.

Edit: So, when we set up this table we saw a leg was sitting a little awkwardly. Brought it up to the guys there, but then opted to see if it may kind of sort itself out with the weight of the table on it. That never happened. I gave them a call months later and they agreed to come out and pick this monster table up and try to fix the leg. They ultimately couldn’t, so they dragged this beast all the way BACK to my house (so we’d have a place to eat) and promised a whole other table. Months went by I really started doubting they would deliver. It took even longer than the first table but I got the call and a brand new beautiful table is now sitting in my dining room. Don’t for one second doubt the integrity of this place and this owner. He’s got your back. And a lifetime...

We are customers for over a decade....Many American made furniture like the beautiful pieces of oak or maple wood from the Amish Furniture brand. We bought to this store - that is my favorite - several unique pieces that are high quality solid wood at good price. Much less expensive than many Chinese or Indonesian furniture sold in nicely decorated showrooms at high cost because of its decorum! This old style showroom is nothing special but once we are inside, we discover a lot of treasures! We also enjoy the staff and owner who are always friendly and on time for delivery. Highly recommended for quality solid...

A fantastic locally owned furniture store. I became a customer after having driven by a hundred times and always admiring the beautiful furniture through the storefront. We were on the hunt for a specific piece (a hall seat with hooks and storage) and found exactly what we were looking for. They have multiple buildings and lots of great solid wood furniture in stock that you can buy right off the showroom floor. We are definitely going to start every furniture shopping...
