We recently had our party here that was planned by Modern Party company. I’m not sure how much of this was their fault or the venues. Here goes: 1) We were told Lydia would be onsite to answer questions and help us during set up. She never showed up despite repeated calls. 2) It was burning up and they would not turn down the air or it did not work. We asked several times. 3) The tables were set up with 10 seats. It was so crowded the seats would not sit side by side at the table. We had to request more tables to set them up appropriately. 4). We were told we were getting garden chairs and we had chunky plastic folding chairs. See picture. I had to rush and order garden chairs from Taylor Rental for $2,000. 5) The floors and place was filthy. It was so dusty my allergies were going crazy and anything that touched the ground was covered in dust and dirt. The bottom of peoples dresses were awful and filthy. 6) There were bums everywhere. They were stealing our boxes, gifts, etc even with us standing right there. The parking is awful. We were not allowed to park in front of the venue without paying $80. We had to park nearly a mile a way hauling in all the decorations and equipment. They do not make it easy, smooth, there is no help, and the whole process was overwhelming and stressful. Too many other venues offering way better service.

Google maps dosent show that you can get to T&P from St Louis St. side by walking to the Trinity pedestrian underpass that takes you right to the tracks 12 minutes walk from the Air bnb i was staying at on St Luis st. It directed me via roadway footpath either side (20 mins) It took me a couple walking tours and observing the public pedestrians to figure this out. Really easy to find and saved me an Uber!

The venue is a beautiful space, but the woman in charge, Lydia, is impossible to get ahold of. Many times she would promise to get with us by a certain day and then we would have to pester her for days or a weeks at a time, and only after I had to be less than pleasant would I suddenly hear back from her with all kinds of excuses that had nothing to do with not simply calling and updating when she said she would. I’ve never had such a hard time getting ahold of someone I was trying to give money to. I hate leaving bad reviews so much because I know we all have different personal experiences, but if you want an event to go smoothly and be able to communicate with the manager then I highly suggest you seek elsewhere. We literally had to change the venue because she was...

Fort Worth (West) end-of-the-line for the TRE commuter train. All trains go east from here. Access is through an underground hallway. Riding your bicycle in here will earn barks from security. Purchase your ticket in the hallway before heading west to walk up the stairs to the platform. An alternative is to take the elevator on the west side of the hall - especially useful if you have heavy luggage or a bicycle. If you have a few minutes to spare, walk north up the hall to go to T&P Tavern for a great craft beer selection or cocktail. Parking at the south side (under the overpass) is free if you're riding the...
