Let’s start with the 2 positives.||Idalay, front staff, front desk, she is phenomenal, I’ve been in customer service since 16 years old, I’m 41 now. She went above and beyond. I mean, she deserves a raise times 10, she was the most attentive person I’ve come across at any restaurant/customer service field.||Breakfast. Not going to lie. Amazing.||SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR TWO NIGHTS GUYS.||YOU CANNOT REVIEW ON YELP ON THIS HOTEL. Which means, the yelp was removed for the real reviews.||ROOMS: THE BEDS WE HAD WERE HORRIFIC. Like so, so, so bad, that I checked out a day early. I’ll tell you this.||The pictures, are HIGHLY CAT FISH. The rooms/bar, everything is like done by the worlds best photo editor.||Our ac was broken, it was vile. And humid. They were going to move us, but to a smaller room. We were already in jail cell sized room.||I paid $700 for 2 nights. THEN ITS $35 A NIGHT PER NIGHT FOR PARKING.||By 3pm, day 2, of being in excruciating pain from the beds, and very disappointed about the lack of light, or beautifully, and luxurious like pictured. I feel like an idiot. There were BOUJEE hotels a block away, way cheaper than this, but somehow got lured to this by fake pics, the beds looked so good, comfy, like marshmallows, It feels like you’re sleeping on a gym mat, the rooms look so clean and brand new on the pics, prepare to be jaw dropping disappointed, at least my room for sure.||The outside online looks so fun, you get there, and it’s like you ordered a hotel room off of temu or wish.||So give Idalay a raise. And thank you for stealing my hard earned money. For the most hellacious night of my life, Idalay is the only good thing about this place.||Idalay for president 😂😂😂😂😂||And Hampton inn 0/10. The lies you post. The rooms are now worth $300 a night. It was like the size of a jail cell ffs.||Here’s your temu and wish comparison, what you think you’re getting vs. what you’re really getting. And it’s dark as hell at night at the hotel, no bright lights, or really much lighting at all, and it’s in a scary end corner, that is shady.||Let’s not forget the paper thin walls, listening to screaming kids is so fun, when you just got out of barely surviving 2 boys under 2! 😂 last thing you want to hear is screeching pterodactyl toddlers, in your “relaxing, luxury, $700 for two nights, and back injury, dark, too scared to leave with my kids at night hotel” because there’s no fing lights and dark creepy alley.||I will never again book a hotel. Going back to air bnb life, which I originally booked, but an emergency came up, so I was stuck with this. Honestly, the motel 6 is probably nicer, in Ft. worth, save your money, go there 😂||0/10 thanks...
Read moreWas not happy with this stay at all. This was a nice family weekend out to get my sick wife out of the house and we were not thrilled to say the least. Being a $400+ stay for 2 nights in a basic small room is ridiculous and this much trouble, won’t happen again! We always stay at Hilton branded places and I do a lot of business traveling but we won’t come here again, thats for sure!!
To be in Downtown FTW and considered a “better” Hampton suites, I was not impressed. Should have stayed at the Hilton, I know it’s a good place. The ONLY reason we came here and literally I mean the only reason I chose this place was the “heated” pool and the kids play area within the pool so our 7-yo son could have some fun. The pictures make it look bigger then it is but the water was COLD!! I inquired at the front desk and they said it’s supposed to be warm but they would check, this was on day 1 of our arrival. The gentleman came back and agreed it did feel very cool and that he requested it be turned up.
Day 2: The next morning we went down to check and see..still very cool and not warm. I again inquired to the front desk where I encountered Josh and he said sorry it’s where it’s supposed to be but I'll ask maintenance and then once they replied he said sorry there's nothing they could do.....that’s not a heated pool!! He said it was normally set to the 85 degree area...it was measured at 74 from a kids thermometer!
Now...next trick is trying to pull out of the parking garage, on the 2nd floor, the exit signs point you in a circle!! Don't believe me Hilton, go check! If you’re not used to it, when you come around the corners, there should be a sign in the middle of the archway pointing to the exit.... very confusing because literally, the green exit signs hanging from the roof ALL point you around the drive, not a single sign pointing you to the center exit ramp...
Now coming down to the exit, it’s HORRIBLE! You have to swing left (where the IN traffic drives up the ramp) in order to turn right so you can clear all the poles to get out...people coming in and people going out at the same time is impossible....it can’t be done even for smaller vehicles!
I’m not usually a picky or person that gripes, but when you book a room based on a certain thing or things, you expect that. All the other stuff is just gas on the fire. We will not return to this place.
I gave it 2-stars for the excellent breakfast and the 24/7 coffee. We are big coffee drinkers so thats a plus. I wish I could remember the name of the girl we encountered the first night...she...
Read moreBuilding wise, our entire stay was 5⭐️. The staff was EVEN BETTER than the spacious rooms, great foyer, bar, and extra open seating. We were there with a group of 16, staying for a total of two nights. We were greeted by Chauntel- and she single handedly made a mark on me personally. Later after we checked in there was a situation that occurred. There was a guest in the hotel that had obviously been drinking, and Chauntel was doing her absolute best to navigate a very difficult patron. I started observing because of her safety and I was not enjoying the way he was interacting with her. However, in my observation of the man under the influence he engaged with me and my son and was really upsetting to my teen just because of the patron’s lack of space and understanding social cues. Chauntel came to our aid while still respecting the other unruly guest. She navigated the situation with class and manners. We left for dinner and I had accidentally left my wallet in the church in the foyer because of the upset with the drunk patron, and the cleaning staff had found my wallet and turned it in to the front desk. I did not get the girls name that saved my day with my wallet, but I know she was on the night shift after Chauntel on Thanksgiving night. I also want to thank the cleaning crew for their integrity and thoughtfulness. Throughout our time, Sierra, was another helpful staff member. She was considerate and went above and beyond to take care of our needs. We found ourselves completely overtaken with gratitude for every person we got to observe at the Ft Worth Hampton. We will 1000% come back. Kindest regards to Chauntel, Sierra, Imalde, Martha, and Hill (and the unnamed staff after Chauntel’s shift, and the cleaning crew) for their bountiful help, jovial encounters, effort towards kindness and an absolute picture of a great community of hard-workers. We will rave about this stay SOME because of the great venue and spacing but MOSTLY because of the humans that staffed it. Thank you to each and every one of you. I am so appreciative of your efforts. You did it all (for a LARGE group) with a smile. You made an impact and we can’t wait...
