5-Star Stay at the Kimpton Hotel – Exceptional Service Shines, Especially Stephan!
My recent stay at the Kimpton Hotel in Fort Worth was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the impeccable service and warm hospitality that defines this boutique gem. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine smiles and a vibe that felt both luxurious and welcoming. But what truly set this experience apart was the outstanding service from the staff, particularly Stephan, whose attentiveness and professionalism left a lasting impression.
Standout Service: Stephan, who works at the front desk, deserves a standing ovation. Not only did he check me in with effortless efficiency, but he also took the time to personalize my stay. When I mentioned I was celebrating a special occasion, he surprised me with a complimentary room upgrade and paired it with an adult beverage—a thoughtful touch that epitomized Kimpton’s commitment to guest care. Throughout my stay, Stephan remembered my name, offered insider tips on Fort Worth’s hidden gems (ask him about the Speakeasy!). His enthusiasm and dedication made me feel like a VIP, not just a guest. When I forgot my phone charger, the staff had one sent to my door within 15 minutes! It was a real life saver!
The Hotel & Amenities: The Kimpton itself is a stylish retreat, blending classic elegance with Texas charm. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and featured a plush bed I still dream about. Little details like a yoga mat in the closet, and a minibar stocked with local treats added to the vibe. The rooftop bar, with its skyline views and craft cocktails, is a must-visit—perfect for unwinding after exploring the Cultural District or Sundance Square, both just steps away.
Location Perks: Situated in the heart of downtown, the hotel is a walker’s paradise. Museums, shops, and the Fort Worth Water Gardens are minutes away, and the staff’s curated local tips (thanks again, Stephan!) helped me experience the city like a true insider.
Final Thoughts: The Kimpton Hotel Fort Worth is more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience fueled by passionate staff who go above and beyond. Stephan’s exceptional service was the cherry on top of a flawless stay. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines sophistication with heartfelt hospitality, book here. You’ll leave not just refreshed, but genuinely grateful for the memories.
Thank you, Stephan and team—you’ve set the gold standard for service....

One of the highlights of my visit was the experience at Refinery 714, the hotel's 24th-floor bar. Here, I had the pleasure of meeting Tori, a skilled bartender whose passion for mixology was only matched by her warmth and charm. Sipping on expertly crafted cocktails while taking in panoramic views of the city made for an unforgettable evening.
Trey, the valet, deserves special recognition for his efficiency and speed. No matter how busy the hotel was, he always managed to retrieve my car with lightning-fast precision, allowing me to seamlessly transition between exploring the city and relaxing in the comfort of the hotel.
At the front desk, Sean and Nicole greeted me with infectious energy and genuine enthusiasm. Their vibrant personalities set the tone for my entire stay, and I appreciated their willingness to go above and beyond to accommodate any request.
Of course, none of this would have been possible without the leadership of the hotel's manager, Rana. Her dedication to providing guests with a truly exceptional experience was evident in every aspect of my stay, from the impeccable service to the luxurious amenities.
Speaking of amenities, the Kimpton Harper Hotel certainly did not disappoint. While there may not be a rooftop bar, the 24th-floor Refinery 714 more than made up for it with its stunning views and impeccable cocktails. Additionally, the hotel's other offerings, including the onsite restaurant, provided ample opportunities for relaxation and indulgence.
In summary, my time at the Kimpton Harper Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I arrived to the moment I reluctantly checked out, I was treated to a level of luxury and hospitality that exceeded all expectations. Without a doubt, I look forward to returning to this hidden gem in the heart...
Read moreI could not be happier with our stay at the Kimpton “The Harper” hotel in downtown Fort Worth! My mom and I were looking for a dog friendly hotel to stay out here for Christmas night, and easily booked our reservation through their website very early on Christmas morning (same-day reservation). Bonus- no weight limit or extra fees for pups!
We were greeted by the valet who promptly got us a luggage cart and instructed that checkin was on the 24th floor. Check in was easy and included a free local beer for each guest. Dog beds/bowls/etc were available on request. The lobby/work area on the 24th floor is beautifully designed with a ton of smart seating options, outlets, free wifi, and views of downtown.
The room was equally beautiful! Love the barn door detailing and lighting designs. Maybe one of the only hotels I haven’t immediately thought “they need more lights in here”. Plenty of space especially for this price range in downtown. Comfy beds with plenty of pillows, multiple seating options and extra space for your luggage. Connecting doors to the neighbors room if you wish. :) fridge, yoga mat, hairdryer etc in the room plus the option for a TON of different toiletries to lend if you need (see pic of the list in the bathroom).
No specific dog walking area in the hotel, but there is a grassy park 1 block away with a doggie bag station in case you forgot yours. Bar and bites on 24th floor; Il Modo Italian restaurant on 1st floor. No in room coffee or continental breakfast, but Corner Bakery across the street is a quick, inexpensive option which worked perfectly for us. The room was also very quiet considering the downtown hotel setting.
Additional amenities which I really appreciated were the cordless Bluetooth speaker (although it took a minute to figure out how to use- maybe some instructions would be helpful here) and the impressive fitness center on the 3rd floor with 2 pelotons!
All in all this place is a wonderful value and somewhere I would recommend to any of my friends or family. And the pup...
