Rose Marine Theater — Attraction in Fort Worth

My wife Mari, and I, are thankful for the opportunity given to our son Mico Hastings to perform in "Casa Magica" by Rob Bosquez, who wrote, cast, acted, and directed the poignant play to perfection. Mico was employed by William Girón at Artes de la Rosa to perform the play in the historic Rose Marine Theater.

The cast did a read through of the emotional 96 page family drama on Wednesday and Thursday night, then performed the stage play on Friday and Saturday night to an overwhelmingly appreciative audience.

The performance compelled the audience to laugh heartily, and conjured tears unapologetically. It created a community of shared emotions to all who were lucky enough to witness the incredible array of actors collected to represent a memorable Fort Worth family experience that will last a lifetime.

I wish to express my heartfelt thanks to all who were involved, and my fervent hope that "Casa Magica" becomes a staple in the pantheon of plays available for everyone to enjoy, again and again.

I would encourage anyone interested in the performing arts to consider participating, patronizing, supporting, and please donate your time and resources to Artes de la Rosa, and the Rose Marine Theater. You may quantify the time, and effort, or even money you invest, but what you get back is immeasurable joy and happiness.

❤️Spanish Opera ❤️ Getting to watch the debut of Zorro in a (recently revitalized) historic theatre was incredible.

For a few performances I noticed the ticket prices had tiers... $20 for community, $50 general admission, $$$ for VIP access with meet & greet. What a thoughtful approach. Setting aside a # of tickets for community members interested in attending an opera at a very reasonable price - expands the reach & really serves the commUNITY.

This adaptation was lovely. It was a sold out crowd.

Parking? It exists. There’s a local business (non-profit) on the block that has completely DIFFERENT operating hours and a dedicated parking lot. So, what a great neighbor to have! There’s signs helping you navigate parking. But also, parallel parking exists on the street. It’s limited. But you can take advantage of it.

Looking forward to bringing the crew to Rose Marine for more events...

William and his staff were very accommodating and really made my crew and the event guests feel very welcomed and at home.
