Ux Nails - Best Gelx & Builder Gel Near TCU — Attraction in Fort Worth

I wanted to love this place but overall I think the ball was dropped. I made it in a little bit over an hour before they closed and I called in ahead of time to make sure it was ok for me to head over. I just needed a manicure and pedicure for my bday trip to the Bahamas the next morning. I was the only customer there when I arrived and there were 2 workers so they both started my services, one did the mani while the other did the pedi. I initially wanted a mani that came with the neck and shoulder massage but I ended up just getting the basic mani and pedi because when I asked about the different manis I wasn’t given info on the different ones they offer. The lady who did my pedicure was super nice, the gentleman who did my manicure didn’t really say anything which wasn’t a big deal. After they started my services, 2 other ladies walked in about 30-40 minutes before closing time. The mani definitely felt rushed and it’s reflected in the end results unfortunately. The polish on my mani looked bad, there were bubbles and by day 2 it started cracking and peeling. The mani also wasn’t very relaxing because the gentleman was a bit rough with my cuticles and also cut me so one of my fingers was bleeding a little and a bit sore. He also didn’t cut my nails evenly so I had 2 different lengths on my thumb nails. When he was done, he didn’t bother to clean my finger off so I left with nails with bubbles in them and dried blood on a finger…not what I expect from a mani but I guess he was rushing so he could start the services for the other 2 ladies. The lady who did my pedi provided better service and I don’t feel as though she rushed through it as much although I feel like the end result could’ve been a bit better. I think the clear coat on my big toe needed to be cleaned up a bit so that it didn’t start peeling (shown in the photo) and the lines on the French top were a little off.

I think had I gone in at a different time, maybe my experience would’ve been better and I wouldn’t have had to go on my bday trip with a bad mani and pedi but I don’t think I’ll be returning to find out due to...

The first review I ever gave. & It is so unfortunate that I have to give this place a bad review. Only because the quality of her work was great! But, unfortunately my nail technician DID NOT LISTEN. I literally just left from getting my nails done. When I got there I advised I wanted to take my gel nails off and do the dipping powder. Proceed to pick out my colors and she see my looking at white and said you going to get white, I said yes with another color. When it came to her dipping my nails she immediately goes and gets white and starts (without confirming with me the color I was getting). She starts to put the white on all my nails I stopped her and said I wanted multiple colors, she goes to say yes ma'am not done yet. So I let her proceed. She gets done dipping my nails and proceeds to file them, I stop her AGAIN and said I wanted multiple colors she says, yes ma'am not done yet. She gets done filing and I stated to her I wanted glitter on some of my nails, she still says she is not done. We end up finishing and there is no glitter on my nails. I am disappointed because I advised her 3 times that this white is not the only color I wanted. I'm not sure if she did not understand me, but if she didn't I rather her or someone else tell me she did not understand but to blatantly just act like you understood what I was saying was not cool. Also, advised her at the beginning of my service I wanted a pedicure and she said okay. But, at the end walked me to the register as if I was done and didn't want my pedicure .( even though 3 other people were there, 2 just started a full set and 1 getting a pedicure). But, communicate that to me please. I have never been to a nail salon were I had to keep repeating myself and still not get what I want. I had already been there 2 hours and needed to get...

If I could give no star I would. And not because of the staff but the owner himself literally made me feel like a criminal when I was clearly trying to pay. And by choice they didn't except my form of payment. With an American Express card. That they even had a sticker on the window saying excepted.. I left in tears and I will never ever recommend anyone there. The service was over priced and just ok. But to have the owner himself lie and speak to me the way he did. I know I'm only one person so this won't make a difference 0but I wouldn't recommend anyone there. At all.

Literally the worst customer service from the owner. I tried paying then after presenting my card was informed there card machine isn't taking American Express. Not once did I ever try to leave without pay. I'm an honest person. My husband is Active duty military. I'm a mom of 5. Why would I try to waste my time and trouble to not pay a whopping 45 $ when my intentions were to get my nails done with my friend. Which btw I had picked this location because of the great reviews and the hours my friend and I were both super excited to try out. And not once did I say I was going to bring my BOYFRIEND, down. I'm married. I remember saying I was going to call and see what I could have done but you were so worried about that 45$ you decided to hear what you wanted. Calling the police and lieing to them in front of your employee, my self and a customer. Shame on you. If I was in the wrong why are you so quick to defend yourself after my post. Also for all of you who decide to go there not only do the have surveillance cameras there's also a live camera that is on. He spoke over the camera to the nail tech who was doing my nails.
