‼️‼️🚫Families please take your money elsewhere🚫‼️‼️ Visited 8/2 5:15-5:20pm Such a disappointment. Wish I could give it negative stars. Charged $205 for the pool to close immediately as we got in, I have my receipt stating the time of paying (5:20) then the amount it took to fill out 7 waivers, go change (wait for a changing room) and walkout. I have the picturee of the 3 times your staff extended the times of pool closure. You mean to tell me for being in the pool 5 minutes max I am not allowed a refund? I understand the safety regards but to have been out of the pool a bit more than an hour and asked if we could get a voucher because we had a soccer tournament the following day and to be belittled and laughed at is not okay and so unethical and unprofessional. We spoke to Ethan about the rules and her response was rude. We asked to speak to a manager only for her to smirk and say "she'll tell you what I'm telling you". Paying after 5pm should hold a voucher at least it is not the same as a refund. We just wanted to comeback the next day when we could enjoy it. The rules to your "no refund" are listed poorly and not visible when you enter, and state if in the pool already. You mean to tell me YOU are okay charging $205 for 5 minutes and keeping our money. The customers back face the policy sign for one and the way things are worded/stated make no sense at that regarding even the degress it needs to be for winter. It's steamboat the weather is unpredictable and after a certain time customers deserve a raincheck as many pools give them. It's an expensive tourist attraction for you to steal this amount and more. You have no idea the burden you put on people's back with this treatment. Your staff is horrible. Ethan (my receipt states that was our cashier and she was the only cashier)mocked us along with her coworker a tall blonde short haired girl. Was told "tou should have checked the weather" and "well we deal with this EVERYDAY" LIKE SERIOUSLY? That is absurd, stealing, and overall sad for what you pretend to stand for. You state to be a nonprofit organization and help your community-by stealing money? By treating customers poorly. You have no idea the sacrifices some families make for the trip to your facility to be met with the untrained staff you have on top not having somebody higher up available and being given a card only for the "manger" to not answer. Your staff mocked us as the regulars walked in. So upsetting, we were looking forward to making another trip soon. We live in Loveland and didn't mind the drive. Again refund and voucher are 2 different things but after this experience a refund was well deserved. This type of treatment is out of line. Your staff takes this as a joke and they lack understanding, and cannot sympathize. You really disappointed more than one family that day. It was a big crowd. I hope you take this and really change it for the future tourists. What a crappy experience...
Read more⚠️ PSA: Beware of Old Town Hot Springs in Steamboat Springs – Unethical and Disrespectful Treatment ⚠️ I’m writing this as a warning to families and travelers considering visiting Old Town Hot Springs in Steamboat. My family of four paid over $130 to enjoy the hot springs, expecting a relaxing and memorable experience. Instead, we were completely disappointed and learned how poorly managed this facility is. After changing into our swimsuits, we were immediately told to stay inside due to thunder and lightning. Safety first – that’s understandable. But after waiting over an hour, we asked if we could get a voucher to return the next day or a refund. We were told there’s a strict no-refund policy, even though their sign next to the cash register we paid at states that “no refunds are available for guests who were already in the pool at the time of closure.” We hadn’t even set foot in the water. The staff member we spoke to was rude and dismissive, telling us they were just there to “ward off people like me,” after I said they stole from me. That kind of comment is not only unprofessional but downright insulting. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told none were available and handed a business card instead. There was no accountability, empathy, or resolution. To make matters worse, another couple nearby was told they should have “checked the weather before coming.” The staff's attitude was condescending and completely lacking in basic customer service. This place may look nice from the outside, but it’s run by people who don’t care about their guests and don’t honor their own policies. I work hard for my money, and what they did felt like theft. If this were a $25 pool, I could let it go – but for the price they charge, this was a disgrace. First class pricing with second-rate service from these entitled, condescending thieves. Bottom line: Avoid Old Town Hot Springs unless you’re okay with being treated poorly and potentially losing your money. They do not stand by their own rules and clearly have no interest in doing the...
Read moreA cluster of unprofessional staff. I call to make massage reservations only a week and a half prior to our visit. Sorry, too early. No reference to when I should call back. I wait three days. This is when the fun starts. The staff first tells me that the day I want to come is completely booked. As I question the process, we discover she is looking at a day that has already past a week ago. So now that we are on the correct day we discuss open massage slots. Communication was not her strong suit because by the end of the booking process she said three different time bookings. I tried to confirm exactly what the times were and she stated 5 and 6. But I was left concerned about her competency so I called today, only a day later mind you, to double check. Sure enough the times previously arranged were wrong and they would have charged us the day of if we showed up and argued the mixup. The new staff rep was equally unhelpful. After trying to explain my predicament and unpleasant experience, she merely offered to remove my reservation and made zero effort to remedy the errors made by previous staff. I can’t help but feel jaded from my entire interaction with this establishment. After waiting so long to get away because we have a newborn and finally enjoy some adult time we are left with this experience. What a bummer. Some places just don’t have a...
