We had the best experience at Urbane today! Our boys wanted skateboards for their 8th birthdays and we were going to buy everything we needed on Amazon (because it’s easy) but we decided to shop small and we are so glad we did. Everyone at the shop went out of their way to help us find exactly what we needed for our boys. They were great about making sensible recommendations for our first timers and they didn’t try to talk us into spending more money on things than we needed to - it’s nice to work with people who are honest and know what they’re talking about. Large selection of winter apparel, hats, some swimsuits, shoes, socks, skateboards blanks for good price (no wheels, etc), but have plenty of skateboard parts to create your own designer skateboard. The person that helped with the kids skateboards was very helpful, pleasant, and very informative. The cashier up front was also very pleasant and engaged in conversation, asked about us and where we’re from. The store is comfortable environment, light music playing. Store is full, but you still have plenty of room to move around and shop. With over 300 skateboard blanks to choose from, and all the clothing and other choices, I would highly recommend stopping here; especially if you have some skateboarders...

I bought a Madrid longboard online. The one I originally bought online wasn't available, so Ryan called me to explain their was a mix up. They had another Madrid longboard for sale, and I was given the option to either take that one, or they would give me a full refund. I opted to take the other Madrid. Great communication with Ryan over the phone, and he was very apologetic about the mix up. I got the board via UPS not long after. It was packaged very well... thanks again!!

Btw, I traded out the stock trucks for the Paris V3's, 50 degree RKP longboard trucks... now it rides...
