TLC went above and beyond when helping me find my perfect wedding dress. Pre-COVID, I had found a dress I loved in NY, but then we postponed our wedding, and I didn’t buy it. In 2021, we moved to Frederick, and I started searching for that same dress, but it was already a few years old by that point and no one had it in stock anymore. I saw on their website that TLC was a carrier of that designer, so I gave them a call without much hope. But they were able to get a loaner from the designer so that I could try it on again before buying it. They were very communicative during the entire process, so I never had to worry that they had forgotten about my request. The loaner came in, and I made an appointment to try it on, after which I had some questions about color and style options, and JayJay contacted the designer to make sure the dress would look exactly like I wanted before ordering it. Then when it came in, JayJay called me immediately because she knew I was on a tight timeline. At each of my appointments, everyone was so kind and helpful, giving me opinions and suggestions when I asked for them and taking photos for me to send to my mom and bridesmaids since I went to my appointments alone. JayJay also helped me pick out a veil and recommended an excellent seamstress for dress and suit alterations. My entire experience with TLC was perfect. I cannot rave enough about how great TLC Bridal Boutique is and how great Terry was. If you are looking for a truly unique experience, this is the place to go. Even though the place is small, they have a surprising selection of dresses- all beautifully exquisite. When you first arrive, Terry is very intent on listening to your wants and needs in picking the perfect dress. I actually ended up going with a dress totally unlike what I was planning because Terry had happened to pick it out and thought it'd be a good one just to try on- for the heck of it. She was not pushy at all, yet she seemed to know just what you were looking for. She made it not feel like it's something she does multiple times a day, but a truly unique experience just for you! You can tell the staff has a lot of experience in Bridal sales- they gave great, helpful advice.The most important thing was that there was no push to find the right dress. She gave us plenty of time and didn't make us feel like we needed to rush in any way. She, along with the other staff were very patient and did their best to make my many guests comfortable while they were there. The prices are reasonable and they have several other accessories that match perfectly. I ended up getting my veil and earrings there too- they matched perfectly with my dress.

Overall I had a positive experience with TLC Bridal. Their new location (second level shop) is very nicely decorated and centrally located in Downtown Frederick. Unfortunately, I went into this appointment already having found a unique wedding dress I really liked (and ended up buying), so the consultants at TLC has a hard time finding a dress I liked more than the one I had already found. Nevertheless, my consultant, Suzy, did everything she could to help me find a dress from TLC, and even brought in her coworker and the owner when she had run out of ideas. I could tell they really just wanted me to find a dress that I liked (so much so that they hinted I should run back and get the other dress!). They were very nice and catering the whole appointment, respected my budget, and listened to what style I was looking for. The reason why I gave four stars instead of five was because I sat in the lobby for 30min before anyone realized I was there (granted, they had just moved into this location and things were a bit hectic...no excuse for 30min though) and that each of the fitting rooms had windows with see-through lacy curtains (I felt as though people could see right up into the fitting room).
