First the restaurant is ALWAYS COLD!! Very stingy with the heat its the winter!! Fess up! Second I’ve gone to the restaurant many times. I always had a good experience, but always cold. Today I went in. I spoke to the manager behind the bar. Juliana. She immediately took action and asked Kayleigh the other manager to turn up the heat was she didn’t immediately and with a new time it was comfortable to sit and have food in a few drinks. Quite frankly, it was about time, but be that as it may, this was my best experience that I have had since I’ve been there, first of all, I’d like to complement Juliana besides making the move and getting the place warm her service for friendliness, her great personality is the best that I’ve had with all the bartenders there there’s one guy ,who wears a nose ring, and I find him sort of cold and unprofessional, and unwilling to help that’s just the way that it is with him. When I see him, I go to the upstairs bar if he’s down stairs. But they keep it on a positive note. I’d like to compliment the other manager Kayleigh. It was the first time that I have seen her there. I guess she’s new, but I want to say that I have been in the restaurant business for 46 years and I watched this young lady quickly efficiently move around the restaurant cleaning up table, sanitizing tables, talking to customers. Taking food out quickly and efficiently. When I was leaving she was greeting guest at the front door as well, she covers the upstairs in the downstairs quickly and efficiently, and always has a smile on her face. That’s my kind of employee that brings me back. I can tell that she said good training and she’s a great addition to the white rabbit.. and is special nod to Tess who is actually the one that recommended by the white rabbit when I saw her at another restaurant, she said stop by you won’t be disappointed and she is so right. I always have good conversations with Chef and Dennis. His food is delicious and he runs a great kitchen. I’ve never had a bad meal. Shout out to Shannon, the waitress, very friendly, very outgoing. She made my day special as well.. you’ve got some good people working there as you may want to know the only thing I is turn it’s the winter time it’s always nice to walk into one place rather than a cold place. Yeah he’s expensive so where my tabs and I don’t complain about those I just wanna warm place to eat. Everything else is there for me. Great service great management great employees thank...

Unlike Keanu this beer enthusiast from the NW didn't have to follow a girl with a tattoo, only curiosity to find the White Rabbit Gastropub. I was visiting friends and came mainly because of its forte to deliver diverse, local, liquid options.

We made reservations the night before and arrived to a packed restaurant, they told us we didn't have one, mmm not a good start. However they promptly accommodated us to a large table upstairs, no questions asked, that deserves an A+! Our waiter was prompt and thorough, helping me with the beer list and articulating food to the rest.

I drank about six 5oz samples of IPA, from lightly hopped sessions, to fruity haze and imperials with a bitter bite, all averaging about $3.5 bucks. If you love beer then definitely come here, because they have an impressive selection, almost as much as their configuration of W-shaped taps!

We had some vegetarians with us so we selected a few recommendations from our waiter, starting with the avocado toast. The plating was beautiful, it came out with so much texture and color but to me it wasn't really enough to share amongst the table. So we ordered some fried green tomatoes, they were juicy but crisp without too much breading and the aioli had a nice kick. With most appetizers nearing $10 we decided to order our entrees before spending a fortune on the next few bites.

We happen to come on the weekend of 4/20 so there were several suggestive specials. Our food mostly came out nicely plated and well portioned but mine may have been the exception. They had some themed steak options so I ordered the Asian-inspired one, it came with kimchi rice and a soy-ginger-chili glaze. The meat was flavorful and cooked well but was literally the size of a deck of cards. I must have forgot to tell them I wasn't dieting because I wanted more than four bites, especially for $21!

For dessert we decided on the Blue Dream, a blueberry infused panna cotta with creamsicle whipped cream and white chocolate covered candied oranges. It offered a nice medley of fruit flavors, a creamy yet light texture and a sugary buzz that was unlike sativa, surely it was just all my beer.

Overall the service was spot on even if some of the portions may have been questionable, the quality was there and the standout beer list raised the bar. So whether you like hops or not hop on over to this Rabbits lair and enjoy a wonderland of...

My first impression was great. My wife and I had multiple servers assisting us as we sat down to order our drinks. We received our water and my wife’s drink almost instantly. The steak and cheese empanadas we ordered were great! I would recommend those. However, this is where the praising stops. Prior to ordering the empanadas, I was not 100% clear on the ordering process. My wife and I sat for about 10 minutes before realizing we needed to order online. I believed this only to be an option, and not the rule. We watched as many servers were running around with only 2-3 tables being occupied. Leading up to ordering our food we did not have one server come check on us even though we still had menus on the table. What threw me off was I believed that one of the servers that was initially assisting us said we can talk to the cooks as an option of ordering. This didn’t make any sense. Once we figured out the ordering process, we ordered our food as well as a drink. The food came, we ate and no drink. Not one server came around to check to see if we needed anything. We were going to get dessert, but we were done at this point. We checked our online bill to ensure there was not a 2nd drink charged. When I saw the 2nd drink, I went to the bartender to see about removing the drink. He asked what was wrong with the drink. I said it never came out. He didn’t seem like anything was wrong, never apologized, and said he would change it. The bartender brought the electronic payment device, showed me the new balance, and left the payment device for me to deal with. Having been both servers, my wife and I didn’t expect the lack of attention from the wait staff. Again, servers were running all over the place with only a few tables occupied. What really stinks is I had multiple people from work recommend this place. If it is a misunderstanding, I will change my rating. But I would have to hear from the management at the...

I will literally be going back to try more foods and will be posting them from the award-winning pizza to the fresh baked bread and perfectly breaded cutlets. This will now be a regular stop for us. #whiterabbit #frederickmd #frederickmarylandeats
