The normal associates are usually super nice, and very approachable when on the job! They make sure to greet when people enter as much as they can, but one thing I've noticed in recent months of coming to this establishment is tense atmospheres or discomfort among staff, and seemingly because of certain aspects in management. I also noticed an increase of discomfort among common associates I have encountered in this establishment, ones that I have interacted with multiple times in the past. I remember many enjoyable experiences with these staff members, but sometimes when I would enter the establishment, they only ever seemed stressed or in a state of disarray, even during a seemingly slow business day, and I noticed many have fully left this establishment after displaying this behavior. I typically would not assume it is because of work place treatment, whether it is between management or other associates, but after a few distasteful interactions with a particular manager at this establishment, I am unsure on how to feel. This manager in particular was very rude and very dismissive when she had assisted me in the past, she did meet my needs which I do appreciate, but her demeanor in which she handed it was very unprofessional and very agitated, and not even fully with me, but with the associate that had called her in the first place for help, which made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. I do suggest shopping here for cute items or merchandise from shows and such, especially due to the friendly associates, but I also heavily recommend this corporation to do a check on how their management teams treat their staff and how many of their associates may be doing while at their job, even if the atmosphere is simply due to other distasteful customer interactions and...
Read moreMy visit today was bittersweet. I loved the new remodel but was a little disappointed that the wire racks it advertised online that you had were not there. I am more disappointed at the lack of customer service. The cashier was pleasant however the rest of the associates working the sales floor seemed more concern about following myself, my wife and kids but never really asking if we need help. I'm sure your store experiences theft but we were literally surrounding at the candy section yet neither of the young men(one wore an orange shirt the other a 5 below crop top)asked if we needed help finding anything. They walked past my wife and she moved and she was the one that had to say "excuse me" as they rushed past. Multiple times throughout our visit they made it obvious they were following us. I was so excited to try them on after purchasing them, but I was dissapointed and grossed out to find that the seemingly untampered packaging had used earbuds in them ... I knew this because the outer casing had scratches on them, and the buds had someone's earwax on them...
I'm thankful I kept the receipt. I wanted to get an exchange, hoping that the next pair would be find and completely new. The store member helped me open the package and look, and they had earwax on them too!
I'm glad I got my refund, but that was really weird... so be aware if you are trying to buy any product like this.
