EDIT - 7/12/25 Didn't know how to make another review on google so I edited this one. Wanted to upgrade my PC because my old set up was not going to be able to run BL4. Put it together after work and went to boot up and couldn't get out of bios. Wanted to take it back to PC Station since they did such great work on fixing my PC last time. Asked for a cable management service and troubleshooting. Paid for a rush job because I didn't want to wait to try my new all white arctic build that I was so excited to play on. John did an immaculate job with cable management again and really made my new fishtank build look clean and professional. I'd add pics of the build on here if I knew how, the 9070xt looks immaculate in this build. Picked up my PC about 4 hours later and everything was perfect. Would recommend taking your business here, they are the best in Fresno.
My PC died on me on a Wednesday night after I got home from work. Did all the troubleshooting I could but settled on my SSD had probably died. Took the rig Thursday after work to the shop and spoke to Josh who checked it in and listened to me explain the issues I had and what I did to troubleshoot. Told me likely 3 days to have it looked at and another 4-5 to fix depending on the issues. I braced myself for a 3 day weekend without my PC and to my surprise got a call from John Friday evening. He confirmed my suspicion of the SSD had given up the ghost and went over my options. Was able to upgrade my 1tb Samsung SSD into a 2tb M.2 SSD stick. I asked them to clean out the system and give the CPU some fresh thermal paste, a tall order I knew as I smoke in the room my PC sits in. Asked John what kind of timeframe I was looking at, he said it would be most likely tomorrow. Killed some time Saturday and got the call it was ready for pick up at 5pm. I was over the moon to not have to spend my whole weekend game-less. These guys were able to do my whole PC job in two days from the original 8 days. I would recommend bringing your business to PC Station and will be returning myself when the need comes up. If you have a PC that has been without cleaning in a few years, as I am sure most of us are guilty of, you most definitely should bring it to them and your PC internals cleaned...
Read moreI wouldnt go to this place. I originally had brought my laptop in for a keyboard replacement. I supplied the replacement keyboard, directly from the manufacturer. They said that they keyboard "isnt getting enough power from the motherboard in the laptop" yet before I took in the laptop, it was working perfectly, just that two important keys were not working. They said the replacement MOTHERBOARD would be $750 bucks which is correct for the price of the motherboard, and they said it would be powerful than the one i have in it, except the one I had in it was a GTX 1070, according to them, it was a 1060. This was incorrect, literally paying for the same motherboard to be put in. When I got my computer back, they said that SOMEHOW the battery in the laptop wasn't receiving a charge, yet BEFORE I took it in it was able to get up to a full charge meaning the repair guy who screwed up my computer killed the battery. So once I got my laptop back, they said the battery is dead and it would be a $135 dollar charge. I gave them my computer to repair at the beginning of August, and I didnt get it back until August 30th because the guy doing the repair COULDNT FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM AND HAD TO WORK WITH ANOTHER REPAIR SHOP TO FIX IT. On top of that, I called in one day to check on the status on my laptop, and the nice woman who answered said they were busy and that they would call me back before they closed at 7. I NEVER GOT THAT CALL BACK. So I went in the day after confronting what seemed to be the store owner and said "she shouldn't have done that" and I couldn't agree more. Now a month after getting my laptop back, the replacement keyboard is starting to go out AND the so called replacement motherboard is outputting less power than it should be. This is after $100 dollars for the keyboard and service fee on top of $750 dollar motherboard replacement and a months wait. Im thinking about going back in and having them fix my issue again, no service fee with a refund for my motherboard because the service I got compared to the rest of the google reviews...
Read moreThey know what they know, and they should only work on what they know. Two stars because they have good, friendly customer service; and I thought the price for my service was a good deal. I had PC Station upgrade my hard drive to a Solid state drive in my 2017 iMac 27 inch. I have seen installation kits from ifix it, but I still didn’t feel comfortable doing it myself. Because, the process involves taking off the 27 inch Retina display from the iMac to swap the Hard Drive. I was glad to hear PC Station would do the upgrade for me at a good price. They completed the install at the end of December 2022. Well, Now in May 2023 the adhesive that was used to glue back on the display had completely peeled off in a instant and the 27 inch Retina display came crashing down from my iMac. The display is cracked. Yeah, it’s been almost 4 months since PC station did the upgrade. Is this some how my fault? Was I supposed to somehow prevent my iMac display from peeling off and come crashing down after PC Station had glued it back on with adhesive. Or, could this have been prevented if PC Station had put the Display back on my iMac in a better proper way. I tried calling PC Station to see if we could work something out. Like maybe, I pay for the labor and they cover the cost of a new display for me. Nope, they said bring it in, and we’ll tell you how much is the full cost to repair it. I probably shouldn’t even trust them with another opportunity on repairing and mounting a new Retina display on my iMac. The cost of a new replacement retina Display is so expensive. Much more than what I paid them for the solid state drive upgrade. Yes, they didn’t even have the audacity to put the SSD on a bracket adapter. They hot glued the SSD to the wall of the iMac. If PC station was not going to do the service properly instead of just jimmy rigging it with hot glue and half a*s adhesive. They shouldn’t have taken the offer to...
