Employee at customer service Siomara was the most rude employee I have ever encountered in a Target retail store. Let’s start by saying I HAD NY RECEIPT AND MY RETURNS WERE ELIGIBLE UNTIL APRIL 1 2023. She was upset with the Cat & Jack policy she was extremely rude and inappropriate with the way she was explaining to me the cat and Jack policy. The cat and Jack policy states you have a year warranty with their clothing for any normal wear and tears, she continuously repeated that the warranty only covered manufacturing defects. Basically the clothes can be exchanged if it was defective. My kids clothes was no defective but did have holes from normal wear and tear. I pulled up the target policy on my phone and read it to her and she said “I don’t care what that says i am simply following what my manager told me because that’s who pays me” WHAT!? And then I asked to speak to her manager she said there was no one at the moment so I said let’s proceed with this because I don’t have all day (she had stopped helping me when I asked to speak to a manager). She then responded “no im not helping you I don’t get paid to deal with this you’re being rude” I apologized to her and told her I wasn’t trying to be rude I simply didn’t understand why the website policy was different then in store? I’ve gone to many targets and exchanged cat and Jack items that have torn or ripped or even didn’t stay in good condition in less than a year. On top of all this cat and Jack policy, I also told her okay let’s forget the cat and Jack stuff… my receipt says I have until April 2023 to return these items so regardless I can still return them. She said “we’ll why are you returning them, they need to be in resealable condition to take them back and this Jean has a hole” she made the entire transaction difficult was cussing and saying things u fee her breathe under her mask. THIS WAS THE MOST HUMILIATING EXPERIENCE AT TARGET EVER. i spoke to Amanda who was a manager and as I was talking to her another customer who heard the entire transaction chimned in and gave her feedback as well. She also said she had never heard an employee talk or act in that manner. Siomara clearly doesn’t get paid well, she clearly hates her job and she should not be employeed in a place where she is going to speak to customers in this manner. I will continue to escalate this until consequences are taken in to action because this...
Read moreCasual shopper none the less. Constant food goods, kitchen necessities, and hygiene are mainly my shop interests at Target. From time to time electronics, but mainly during holidays or certain promotions. My major gripe is when it comes to not honoring a mistake. Yes, another one of those comments etc. Well not quite, it's not a particular item a customer can just misplace anywhere. But it's an item only individuals with access to lock up cages and keys to the cages can. If asked upon request I'd be delighted to talk to an official who can explain as to why I couldn't get anyone to explain correctly why I couldn't get the item priced for the misplaced item behind a lockup cage. More than pleased to show the before and after photos when I asked for request and the more different change of mouth appeal of when I presented the matter to the representative in the entertainment department. If I'm able to post it on the review page I will. I hope I can be appointed with gratitude with an honored price location error on not having to make conflict or concerns in your store location yesterday. For an item that was clearly placed on another peg label behind glass. Happy to be a Credit Card holder that helped a cashier get a hefty load off from a store lead, by running a credit card app. Shame store rep couldn't state the obvious that there was an error at fault for someone's action or store couldn't honor a 50$ difference, but happily comps 3x the request discount by running...
Read moreI received extremely bad customer service at the return line. I was attempting to return a gift from my registry that was defective! The older lady who helped me and the gentlemen next to her both did not know Target's return policy on registry items! They asked each other and they both agreed that it was ONLY 90 days MAX and nothing longer.
It clearly states in my registry, next to the item in my phone application that my item is still returnable. Also on the app it says 90 days to one year for returns. The older lady refused to complete my return. She even went as far as stepping back when she refused and repeating the return policy over and over while staring at the customers behind me. She tried to make me look bad in front of other customers and this is uncalled for, unprofessional and rude.
When I called to speak to a manager, she did not know the return policy either and told me I can go read it online. Wow, in my over 10 years of customer service I have never ever been this rude to anyone or seen such unprofessional people as these Target workers. I was shocked and appalled!
I used to prefer Target over other competitors, had multiple registries, and shopped my whole life there but because of this horrible experience, that I would wish for no one else to go through, I will not return.
I also did not go to Google myself to write this review. Their company forwarded me here after I completed their...
