Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa — Attraction in Frisco

I love massages, being that I'm a nurse and frequently get massages, but today I got everything less than a massage. It was a complete nightmare from hell! From the very beginning, I was left uncomfortable! I had to ask about the spray for my pillow (which ended up being oil flung over the face rest)the oil & lotion used was extremely cold for massage,a huge language barrier and as I was laying on my back the lady kept her boobs on the back of my head like I was her boob rest the entire time until I spoke up. I have a scratch from the left side to the right side of my back that she left from a massage smh not to mention how super rough she was to the point I had to end my massage early last straw after my necklace was broken by the therapist without a sorry or anything. I left the place super upset and crying after I came in with a smile and mind you, I was supposed to be relaxing. There was no management on site, and I was told someone would call me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. While receiving a couple massage I was asked in the middle of my massage to put my mask on. Meanwhile, my spouse mask was off the entire time. UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE This massage was scheduled at 9 am and after no call from the business manager who I was told would be in by 12 and by 2pm still no call. So I called them, still no management and now no one knows who I am and the massageseems to not be found from this morning. I waited still, no call and it's now after 6pm. So I decided to go back up there considering I am only here visiting and the manager was present. She stated that it's no promise that her regional manager will replace it but she'll send him a message and that I needed to provide proof I paid for the necklace. This is the start to my engagement morning! My wife was going to propose there while receiving the massage. Which was totally screwed up by the chain of events and WE WERE ASKED TO LEAVE GRATUITY GO FIGURE. Soooo I ended up having to go to another place for the tension and stress that was caused that I didn't wake up with that morning and the half ass rough massage I had just got. IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A PROFESSIONAL MASSAGE, RELAXATION, SIGNATURE COMPLEMENTARY DRINK GIVE SIENA Massage a call YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. For the price I was being charged here at hand and stone I was able to pay there at SIENA and it was well worth it. The massage, peaceful environment, the spacious rooms and decor, the place provided to take jewelry off and safely put to retrieve after your massage is done, the rob provided and place to put your clothes. The aromatherapy that is provided is listed at the front desk, heck the room smells of aromatherapy! Not to mention the lotion and oil combo made just for you. You know, the one that they use for me during my massage was given to me in a small bottle to me for future use at home. I left a 20.00 tip and all this was covered for 110.00 which is what you charged me for a basic massage, no aromatherapy therapy, a broken necklace, a scratch left by therapist who immediately got defensive and only offered water. The website say 99.00 but we were told it was 110.00 pp for a couples massage once we got there. Also we were told we could not add hot stones because it would take too long to warm them. I mean being it's a service that is offered wouldn't you keep them ready for use if a client chooses to add a service 🤔 I feel my color played a major role in this! The receptionist need better training. I’m very disappointed and frustrated with my experience. First of all I called early in the morning at around noon to schedule an appointment along with my boyfriend. I specifically asked to be scheduled for a facial and a massage for two people. The person on the phone asked me twice for what I wanted and I had to repeat myself which is understandable and I was very patient with her. She got my basic information and didn’t ask me for anything else. 45 minutes later I get a call from the same girl to inform me that she didn’t have an esthetician available for the time that she scheduled us at 4pm but that she had something at 6pm. Me being understandable agreed to be okay with changing the time. When we arrive at 5:45 we sign paperwork and then she asks me and my partner who’s getting the facial and who’s getting the massage ?. I immediately inform her that we are both here at the same time for both the facial and the massage together and then she gave us the clueless face. She then ended up telling us that she has a spot for both of us so we were ok with that. We ended up waiting almost 15 minutes after we arrived to actually get sent to the back which again understandable. When I personally got the actual massage it wasn’t great, I was pretty disappointed simply because what I wanted the most was to focus on my back since I had a lot of pain prior to coming in and the main focus seemed to be on my feet and legs instead of my back. As far as my back there was hardly any pressure what’s so ever so I felt nothing and no relief afterwards. I don’t know if that’s because I had to physically inform her that in person but I wrote it down on the sheet that asked me for the pressure preference and my preferred focus on my body, so I would have thought that was enough information. Which It ended up being the complete opposite. Aside from that, the male and female who did our massage was very kind. So we tipped them very generous at the end of the day. We got to the front and another receptionist got our payment for the massage and then told us to have a good day. But we told her that we where supposed to also be set for our facial and she said that the girl who originally scheduled us made a mistake and didn’t have us scheduled for the facial. At that point me and my boyfriend where so over it and wanted to leave. I was offered a discount but at that point I would have preferred going elsewhere where and not ever have to go through that again. Overall because of the inconvenience, it completely ruined me and my boyfriends day, which we where very much looking forward to this experience and it was not good service from the blonde young lady receptionist to be specific, the other girl wasn’t involved and did her best to apologize but again we aren’t happy and I don’t want to return. Red flags from the start! Worst experience at a Spa!

My mother & I scheduled a Mothers Day special- 1hr Facial and 1hr Swedish massage on Sat 6/1/24. We arrived 20min prior to fill out paperwork as requested. Initial thoughts arriving was that the Spa was loud and rowdy. The staff was unprofessional. One manager was on the phone yelling at an employee over the phone. Not the vibe you want at a Spa.

Our appts were at 12pm and we were not called until 12:30pm, my esthetician Juliet was not prepared and it took her another ten min to find me a robe. At this point it’s 12:40pm and she’s barely going to start my facial. I made her aware I was not pleased with the delay and she ensured me I would still be getting my 1hr facial. My “facial” consisted of her washing my face, and laying hot steaming towels on my face which burned my face. (Pics attached) I told her they were too hot and that she hurt me and she still proceeded to use hot steaming towels on my face twice after that. She never made any extractions, I walked in & out with the same black heads on my nose! At 1pm 20min into my facial she stops and says “That concludes your facial” I complained that why I only received a 20min service and she said my massage was booked at 1pm so my time was up for the facial. I was not pleased with her techniques anyway so I went in for my 1hr massage with Jamika. I had to ask Jamika twice to use less pressure. A Swedish massage is supposed to be relaxing, not painful. At 12:40 Jamika concluded my massage. I asked her why she didn’t do the full hr and all she stated was that my session had concluded. So I was shorted 40min of my facial and 20 of my massage!!! My mother and I reunited at the front desk and she had the same experience! During check out Juliet was charging me $720 or $360 Each for our services. When I asked her to explain the charges she said she didn’t know. I needed to understand how in the world I owed $360 for 1 classic facial and 1 Swedish massage. After disputing these charges for 5min or so she says she made a mistake and that my total was $159.99 each because we booked under the “Mothers day special” I handed her both of our gift cards which each had a $260 balance and she says they don’t have money. So again I begin to dispute and she manages to “find” exactly $160 on each card to cover our services. She then has the audacity to say that I OWE gratuity and asked what form of payment I wanted to use for that!! First of all, gratuity is optional so I couldn’t believe how pushy she was about it. Towards the end I asked her for a copy of my receipt and for my gift card back and she refused both. She said they don’t give receipts and that my cards don’t have a balance. I got so tired of disputing with her so I left.

I got home to confirm that my gift cards each had $260 in them, so my mother and I were each robbed of $100! We have also had body aches following our massages which we did not have before going in. We...
