Subject: Inconsistent and Unfair Enforcement of Policies
I want to express my frustration with the recent experience involving your worker (Bob or Rob) and your company’s inconsistent application of policies. When Bob came to fix the window at my mom's apartment, he refused to reinstall the window AC unit, claiming it was against company policy. He even called Lori (or Lory) on speaker, and she confirmed this.
However, upon visiting my mom’s apartment, I discovered that Bob had installed AC units for two other apartments in the same complex. This raises concerns about whether your company’s policies are applied selectively.
When I called Lori to address this, she admitted that the worker had indeed installed AC units for other tenants but insisted that the policy was being enforced in my mom’s case. If your policies can be applied or disregarded depending on the situation or the worker’s preference, that’s a serious problem, and in my opinion, it’s a form of discrimination.
Moreover, it wasn’t documented that Bob had left an open part of the window unfixed, even though he mentioned he would return to resolve it. This lack of accountability is disappointing.
I was told that my review might be disputed, but I believe the public deserves to know when policies are applied inconsistently and arbitrarily. This experience reflects poorly on your company’s professionalism.
Responding to Laurie First of all, you didn’t even know where I live or ask where the installation was done. As I clearly mentioned, this was at my mom’s apartment, so I would appreciate it if you read and respond more carefully next time.
Secondly, you claimed that the policy prohibits the installation of window AC units, but the worker actually did install AC units for other apartments in the same complex. So, not only are you incorrect, but I have reason to believe you’re deliberately being misleading. When I called and spoke to someone, who I believe was you (Lori or Lory), you confirmed that the worker installed AC units for other units but enforced the policy strictly in my mom’s case.
In my opinion, this is clear discrimination. Applying a policy selectively, based on who the customer is, is unprofessional and unacceptable. It seems like the policy is being used whenever it suits the worker or the company, which is both unfair and discriminatory.
What’s even more troubling is that you weren’t even aware that the worker left part of the window open and claimed he would return to fix it. This lack of communication and documentation reflects poorly on...
Read moreThe WORST, most unexpected display of customer service. Myself and my clients were both treated as if we were inferior to the workers there. This company has lost the value of strong customer service and how imperative positive representation behind a business is.
Note: NO CUSTOMERS = NO BUSINESS!!
Examples of their lack of care for client relations: Their inability to fill an order by the promised day, their inability to provide delivery service when delivery is a service they advertise, and... These people are conning crooks. They tried to tell my client that our additional order discussed was already placed and charged for manipulating her to feel obligated to carry through supporting this lousy company. As if the lack of of glass shops in anaheim didnt already default them with a consumer service monopoly. Thankfully their tactics resulted in their loss 2 large money accounts. We pulled our orders and placed them with a reputable, better-abled glass company,...

They wrote down the correct screen size on my receipt but cut it wrong. I brought in the old screen so it was they who measured and made.
I had to come back another time and thankfully they fixed it while I waited. They were going to get a good review until they asked for $3 to cover their mistake. I was in shock they would ask for a customer to not get an apology but also to GET ASKED to pay for their mistake. I reflected that back to the guy waiting on me while I pulled the $3 out of my wallet. He then got rude and would not allow me to speak.
All in all, It took me 4 trips to get a single screen correctly made. One on Saturday, one to drop off, one at 5:30pm, and would have been 5 had they not fixed their mistake while allowing me to wait for which I am grateful.
Granted, it was my fault for not knowing before coming their hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. They used to be open Saturdays.
I recommend others to try...
