One word to express how my experience today here... WOW ..
left Cash America after not receiving good customer service and they couldnt accept my payment method which was understandable but the lack there of customer service prior bothered me. I came into this location due to the 5 star rating and immediately knew every review was real and valid. i was greated with a smile by Carlos. i saw the same computer i was going to pay 350 for here for 150... wow and i explained my card would not swipe and he allowed me to go home retrieve it and purchase my item. more than satisfied and i will continue to bring my buisness here . Keisha was sweet as can be. ill definitely be coming back to shop in the power tools section next..
intially i gave 5 stars one because i saved some money and was happier with the customer service, but i noticed there was more focus on me giving the 5 star review before i walked out the door instead of cleaning out the computer i just purchased. i asked several times was it erased and cleaned and manger told sales person yea yea yea its done.... i got home and all this womans personal information was saved on this computer still. her address phone number credit card information. all her saved login passwords for google and amazon you name it i could sign in. thankful i work with fraud and im not that kind of person, but had the wrong person got their hands on this computer identify theft would have not been the previous owners only problem. i get thats something the oowner should have did prior to selling it , but the story given to me was a little old lady sold it. why when asked several times would not someone make sure computer was erased. i went from happy to displeased because just that quick someone else could have been in a world of fraud due to what i would say is a little carelessness. i mean even before i walked out the door i asked if for sure it was cleaned. The 5 star ratings will come because ppl value what you do, and i get that it will bring more business but it cant be the main focus..... i wish i could post the video of all the information left on...
Read moreIf a half a star was possible that would still be too much because I have gotten better customer service at a fast food restaurant and was just treated like I was some bum off the street when I have on nice clothes and came in to try to get a loan on a $130 pair of sunglasses that were in good condition and only asked for a loan of $25. So it wasn't like I was asking for any ridiculous amount and not only did they offer me $5 like I brought in a pair of glasses from Dollar General that were scratched up and in terrible shape, when these are in great condition. I was also talked to like I was a bum off the street.... very disappointing when I tell everyone that ever asks about a pawn shop to go here and then when I myself go in I get treated like trash! I guess sometimes people don't stop to think of people's feelings or what the actual definition of customer service is and then when I told them I felt like that was disrespecting me to offer a $5 Pawn on something that I paid $130 for four months ago that is in good condition they started telling me that I needed to leave the store and it was just all in all very disappointing and kind of embarrassing that I have been telling anyone who asked to go here but I hope that made each and every one of y'all in there today feel better about yourself because that was very very unacceptable for a company that is supposed to care about the customers not degrade them and make them feel like they are something they are not!...
Read moreBad experience for me. I purchased a Husqvarna 350 chainsaw. Took it outside and it started and ran like it was suppose to. Noticed the chain was loose but no big deal, right. I was told that it had a 30 day return policy so I bought it and brought it home. Tightened the chair and filled the fuel and bar oil. Started using it to raise a oak and about 15 minutes in the chain loosened and came off. Oil was pouring out of the saw somewhere around the bar studs. I turned the saw on its side and removed the bar nuts when the back stud disappeared into the reservoir. I removed the bar and chain, cleaned the saw and upon inspection realized the threads were stripped out on the back stud. The next day someone texted me about the saw being sold since I was communicating with them online. I told them I was the one who bought it and what had happened. The person told me there was no warranty on power equipment. We argued back and forth a few minutes and he agreed to look into it and get back with me. Suddenly our text disappeared and I have heard nothing else from them. All I wanted was the saw fixed and not a refund which I think is fair. Now I will be filing with the BBB which could have been avoided. Be sure you get everything in writing or don't do business with these...
