Al-Fatah Meat and Grocery — Attraction in Glendale Heights

Check your meat if you go here! Paid $61+ for 3 lbs ground beef and 3 lbs beef chunks. Brought it home and all the bags only had half pound in each one. Took it back and the guy blamed it on cleaning the meat. They weigh first, clean, and then pack it. We go to pardesi, desi bazaar, and mediterranean market for meat and I have NEVER received less than 1 lb when I purchased 1 lb. They also clean their meat very well before giving it to us and it has never been short. When we told them this, they gave us 1 lb ground beef "free" which was NOT free. It was actually meat we paid for and didn't get. They did nothing about the beef chunks being short. Dishonest practices. We will not be going back here again, which is unfortunate because we like to support local businesses. Charged $10+ per pound but didn't even give us the actual meat we paid for....

The grocery store disappointed on multiple fronts. The meat selection lacked freshness, leaving much to be desired in terms of quality. The customer service was a letdown, with unhelpful staff who seemed disinterested and unapproachable. Moreover, the store owner's apparent jealousy towards competitors seems to be affecting the overall experience. Additionally, hearing about their involvement in a recent police case raises serious concerns about the store's management and integrity, making it hard to trust and recommend. All these factors combined make it difficult to recommend this grocery...

Their customer service is horrible, specially the young man at the front cashier (Sunday evening ). I would never come back here and suggest everyone to find another option. There is no reason for this business to excel forward with this type of service. The attendant was extremely rude. I run 3 businesses myself and if he was my employee, he would have been let go a long time ago. I spent $550 at the store to receive the service I received. I regret going there....
