I rented a clarinet from Brass Bell. First I wanted to buy it outright, I ended up financing it according to them, incase my daughter changed her mind and if it needed to be fixed, but it was more money for them. They were suppose to take payments every month on the 25th and at first they did and then they began taking them more than a week early and blamed it on a system changed. I moved out of state, gave them my new address, let them know the account I had was no longer open and gave them the new one and they were still trying to draft on the old account! Go figure. I was fed up with it, and asked how much it was to pay it off, I was told 339 dollars, which seemed more than it should have been, but ok. I was going to be there for a funeral and would take care of it. I guess I wasn't calling or there fast enough, they used my deposit to pay it off, and refunded my balance to the closed account that I have no access to which had been closed for months! When asked why, all they had to say was a miscommunication. I have filed a complaint with the FTC for fair debt collection practices because I did not receive this in writing before it happened, nor the amount of my deposit, or amount owed or my balance. They did not verify the account before they sent it anywhere, especially since they were told months before that the account was closed, they said they noted my account and was given the new card number. Now I want my deposit or my fees. This...
Read moreMy son plays alt saxophon. Two times he needed keys adjustments, and both times Brass Bell performed the service on time and to our best satisfaction. I was already very satisfied with their professionalism and courtesy. However, they proved to me that they can do it even better. It was around the Christmas 2018, with many non-working days and a lot of instruments waiting for the repair. My son brought his instrument with broken neck kork. His music teacher made improvised repair, but it was obvious that the replacement has to be done. When I brought the instrument to Brass Bell, I was told that the waiting time is around 7 - 10 days (due to the circumstances). Upon my inquiry if it could be done faster because my son had very important performance and he needed to practice, the manager assured me that he would personally see to it to be done in the shortest possible time. The very next day I received the call from Brass Bell, letting me know that the instrument was ready for pick up. My son had enough time to practice, performance was a real hit, and my gratitude to kind people from Brass Bell grew even more. Based on my personal experience, I can absolutely recommend Brass Bell to all parents who are looking for the respectable source of music instruments, accessories, and related services for...
Read moreWe were initially scheduled to do the meet and greet last week. I received a call the day prior stating the instructor didnât feel well and would need to reschedule to this week. This week, we went to meet Grace and she was awesome. Very friendly and provided thorough explanations of the process. She stated my daughter would be ready to play in their winter recital which was exciting. About half an hour later we finished with her and were ready to sign up. We were told weâd need to pay a month in advance plus a one time registration fee. No problem. I filled out the paperwork and swiped my card to pay. It wasnât until then that I was told that Grace was actually fully booked. My option was to wait it out and see if she got any openings in the next few months! After driving half an hour there and spending half an hour with Grace- this was a major let down. There was no alternative or initiave to make things right or offer another great instructor. The guy just kinda stood there blankly and cluelessly. He said he was on vacation for a few days and that was pretty much it. So moral of the story- seemingly great instructors, with an unorganized facility. Half an hour drive back home-...
